She worked at Cherry's on W. Dixie Hwy (bulldozed for years thanks to a Haitian Church) very close to Angels. This hag was sweet and smart and had happily worked in the business forever. She didn't seem to like women at all. She had tried to set me up with some hookers and I told her look, probably 99% of the guys out there really don't care about looks even if they claim to. What you think is hot, I would probably consider shit. Also, the girl has to be able to act. No acting, no fun. I want a super fake who is super hot. Furthermore, I'm not spending a lot of money and don't need FS. Most customers are desperate for FS and that isn't what I need.
I got to know the hag fairly well. And, most shocking is she could deliver the girls. She was concerned that I would get attached to a particular girl and I said that won't be a problem if you can deliver a replacement of similar high quality. Some different male pimps that I've known can't if their life depended on it tell the difference between total garbage and total perfection. In regard to more traditional pimps, in NYC and close-in Connecticut areas at least, its getting to be more common where the pimps are being pushed out and the escorts that end up going independent - instead are using their girlfriends (and sometimes lesbian lovers) to handle security and assist in other ways.
In relative terms less need for Pimps today, and to some degree the regular agencies - especially with the availibility of the (web based) referral services - that can and do perform some of the agency functions
Since the sex revolution has become so established at this point, more chicks are becoming whores today, so the entire population of probably all these groups would likely be expanding in absolute terms
Plus the cost of living in NYC and nearby CT is getting incredibly expensive, while the economy is slowing.
