It’s summer season in Phoenix

I made the rounds today at HL, BSC, and S44. Found the same general situation at all 3 clubs. Far fewer customers than I would expect for a Thursday. Parking lots looked empty. More dancers than I’ve seen since CoVid. At each club, I estimate there were more dancers than customers. Quality of dancers was average. Quality of dances was best I’ve seen this year ( which isn’t saying THAT much ). I had a conversation with a long time favorite who gave me the lay of the land. Since schools closed for the summer, the number of customers has dropped. Typical for Phoenix summer. Some of the veteran dancers have gotten regular jobs outside the industry. OTOH, some of the veteran dancers are now deeper into the sex industry and no longer stripping. Expanded unemployment has either come to an end ( or soon will ). That’s driving a lot of dancers back to work in the last couple weeks. Even for those who have been getting unemployment, money has been tight. They are enthusiastic about earning some money ( as the quality of dances revealed with some long time faves ).

    Good to hear. I've been happy with the level of talent at HL lately and it does seem the dances are getting better. I hope the trend continues.

    “Stop with the right wing bs” I was reporting what a dancer told me. A lot of dancers have returned to the club because their benefits ran out. That’s useful information for those who are thinking about a visit to a Phoenix club. It’s as simple as that. No hidden message. No dog whistles.

    I saw a guy at HL, older white guy, who all the girls seemed to know. Any girl who stopped by to visit his table got free drinks. I don’t think he was paying for their time other than mixed drinks. He was locking down the dancers 3 or 4 at a time. Interesting approach.

    I saw similar things to Mark in my last trip to Phoenix. That being more girls back working. However, I had some of my best times ever during the pandemic and they have just got better over time.

    Think lack of customers is because everyone is on vacation? My smaller town is literally a ghost town right now because everyone and their mother is away on vacation with kids out of school for the summer. Being in the mid Atlantic region everyone I know if going to Myrtle Beach, Ocean City MD, Floriduh, Mexico or hitting up Cedar Point in Ohio.

    When we effectively reopened last month there were way more guys than girls. It was pretty sudden and there was no guarantee things would stay open as the club was "protesting" existing rules that weren't being enforced much anymore. These days the stripper milfs have arranged their childcare and are back. On the other hand the wave of young broke dancers who decided to try stripping for a week seem to have dried up. Tourists are back here in San Diego too, but not as many international. It's going to be a weird tourist season. And of course strippers everywhere are gonna be hurting from a lack of business travel.

    I think many of the hottest dancers, those that qualify for print/runway modeling, have left the industry for more exclusive opportunities. I have even a noticed a few former dancers I know show up on the porn tube sites fairly recently. It's a fun "I've done that before with her" moment!

    Not all girls named Dallas are bad like the girl at HL. I met another at a different club in Phoenix and she was as fun as she could be during covid times at this club. Physical description doesn't match the HL girl either.
