I wonder if they took this opportunity to get rid of him and maybe get out of his contract - IDK the details but smoking a blunt and enjoying strippers does not seem to be a "serious crime" to me nor most people and it's probably fairly common w/ the NBA/NBA-players - I can see him getting maybe reprimanded but getting fired seems to be an overly-harsh punishment for someone that was just enjoying himself w/ consenting adults; especially w/ weed being legalized in so many different areas.
He wasn’t fired by the NBA. He was fired by Disney whose family values standards don’t include strippers, gambling and weed. You’re mixing apples and farm tractors.
