Book Review: How to Make Love Like a Porn Star by Jenna Jameson

And Neil Strauss. I figured because it's in the mongering world I would let TUSCL know what I thought of this book. It came out back in 2004 and I just blew threw it. Almost 600 pages but due to tons of pictures, big font/spacing it really feels more like 200. This kind of book is right up my alley because I love celebrity sex stories, name dropping, and kind of the inside baseball POV on the Adult Entertainment world.
-Jameson started out her career as a stripper at the now closed Crazy Horse Too in Las Vegas. And man did this girl have some GPS. One of her friends taught her to sit with customers for 5 songs, then when she finally sells a dance, charge for 6. Tells stories of dancing for celebrities' like Nicholas Cage who never made eye contact with her, which I could totally see him doing. And then when she's more famous on tour across America, she does lap dances for $500 a piece lol. Anyway some cool strip club stuff in here definitely.
-She gets into a lot of her relationships and it's clear she is one crazy ass bitch. However with that being said I think there's a lot to be learned there, not neccesarily just for intimate relationships but even relationships with favs and what not i.e. don't be needy, overcontrolling, insecure. One thing she says (or at least how Neil Strauss put it) The one who wants the least commitment in the relationship holds the reigns, and I think that's a great way to put it.
-All the dudes she rejected. Nikki Sixxx, Derek Jeter, Joe Montana, Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis. Willis went up to her, didn't say a word and just made out with her. Gangsta. But then he sends his limo driver over to her later to pick her up and she didn't like that! Come on Bruce, your too handsome to be fucking up like that! One thing, it's pretty funny how some of the guys who women just fall back in their wake, have no game whatsoever.
-She into girls as much as guys.
-Marilyn Manson is weird dude. And Tommy Lee wasn't doing it for her. Howard Stern I got to admit came off as pussy. I think I remember Artie ragging on him for that same instance in the trailer with her.
-It's cool you can go back and watch some of the pornos she's talking about. The one with Randy West is one of my all time favorites. Her first guy/girl.
-She seems to have had some traumatic experiences and it was interesting to read.
-Some of the stories in the books seem so crazy and outlandish it's just hard to believe it all.
-The sex play by play was really detailed
-She certainly lives the stripper lifestyle just burning through money.
-There's a part where her dad, brother and her are in a dialogue it was kind of boring I just skimmed through. And the relationship stuff got a little tedious, she hates him, now she loves him, now she hates him, ok we get it, enough already.
-There's stuff about the porn industry there that I never realized. Especially the anonymous interview with some male pornstar she talked to.
I thought it was a good book, had some boring spouts but no skin off my back I just skipped it. Only took me a few days to knock it out and I would recommend it to y'all out there. I give it an 8.8

And my personal feelings on Jameson. Around 20 super hot yes. Around 30 still hot not as much though I think too much work done which she admits she wish she never did anything to her boobs. I don’t have an issue with the rack it’s more the lips and the facial stuff you could tell. Why is such a pretty girl doing all this stuff, leave it alone ffs.
I still remember her porn debut with Randy West. Her body was totally natural and she was so cute. Fast forward to her frankenstein look with Tito Ortiz and it's like two completely different people. Au natural young Jenna will always be the best Jenna.
