When they want to use you as a financial backstop

Ok this is part brag thread, part "serious" topic. You've been warned, lol.

The last couple of weeks have been ridiculously good. Last week I wrote about a wonderful lead up to Christmas and I did not believe that it would be repeated this week, especially with how busy the clubs were on Monday. But they died out as the week rolled on. So many fresh young new faces looking for holiday and month-end money and not enough guys to meet the demand. Simply wonderful. The night guy at the local notel must be wondering what the heck I'm doing, lol.

But in an odd twist, these new girls clearly intend to be ITC only temporarily. They all have day jobs that aren't especially lucrative. I'm starting to think that these are SA type girls trying to fill the holiday income gaps. Almost every one, once we had our first OTC adventure, is trying to take it directly out of the club. I've already re-visted one in back to back weeks and two others are trying to lock down regular arrangements. They clearly don't intend to keep dancing past the holidays but want side arrangements to supplement their modest paychecks.

Idk how I feel about this. I'm certainly starting to look at DJGs a little differently, especially those with young kids to feed. These girls are young, beautiful and almost sweetly innocent in the sack. These are no hardened pros, which makes this all the more enticing. But I've never found direct to hotel arrangements to be all that satisfying. I like the whole package, the hotel fun for sure but also the ITC social element.

We will see. Any girl that I ultimately choose to keep seeing will be one who is willing to make a night of it, with food, drink and the hotel finish. If I wanted a quick strike arrangement I could dial up a cheap lay for a fraction of what I am paying these girls.

Anyone else seeing stuff like this right now?

Ok now my very last and quite promising partner just let me know that she got a lousy 14 hours at her day job next week. Needless to say I feel horrible for her so we've made plans to meet up early next week so that I can...console her, over and over, after we eat some good food and drink a lot of spirits of course.

Am I the only one actually enjoying himself during this "pandemic?" I'm starting to think so, lol.

You like to have your cake and eat it, too. Your stamina is admirable, as I lack the time and energy to devote to this amount of debauchery. Get another hobby to give yourself a break from destructive windfalls to addictive sex workers.

^ Well I weave it in among my various other life obligations - it's certainly not all encompassing. But you do realize where we are posting right? ;) We are in a very unique period with ideal conditions that we may never see again or, if so, not for a long time to come. I intend to enjoy what I am sure will be a temporary windfall and others are crazy for not doing the same.

You might be the only one wearing out your keyboard typing about it all, but this is a generational event so to each their own. There's so much water under the bridge with my year in the covidverse, it's not even worth trying to type about it. The highs in the hobby were really high, even for me, and the lowest of the lows came the only way it could at a club when one too many dancers caught the feels and said the wrong thing to the absolute wrong dancer.

I know TUSCLers are down on desertscrub right now, but his tales of everything that was going down at his place for "groceries" were pretty funny. That was earlier this year before you'd decided to get back in the game.

Not for nothing, it's been nice seeing people put their thoughts out there about the hobby a little more to end the year after all the political stuff dominated so much of the year.

Wall, I'll admit that I'm posting more than I normally do and that my board activity dropped off a bit late last year and early this year. It was not because I was in the game less but because so much of it seemed like the normal pedestrian stuff, including run of the mill OTC. I also sensed a weird vibe for some time on this site where participants seemed more interested in posting about politics and TJ than they were about fund club adventures. I'm also under little pressure to churn out simple update reviews since I have several years of VIP in the bank.

But this year has seen so many unusual twists and turns that I'm finding myself with a lot more material than normal. In particular, dancer crews and behaviors have changed dramatically and, more recently, a shit ton of opportunities have opened up. Maybe I also post more now because I'm finding the vibe around here to be absolutely depressing given that so many live in more restrictive areas or are just afraid to club.

I see your situation as a mixed bag and fine if you’re watchful. Repeating with a known great gal is my ideal. But sometimes it’s necessary make clear that you’re good seeing her again so long as it doesn’t become an expectation.

To answer your question:

Anyone else seeing stuff like this right now?

NO, your view and experience is unique, yours only.

To answer your other question

Am I the only one actually enjoying himself during this "pandemic?"

NO, there are others “enjoying” themselves in their own way.

You wrote to brag:

“we've made plans to meet up early next week so that I can...console her, over and over, after we eat some good food and drink a lot of spirits of course.”

Remember Pics and Vids or it didn’t happen.

I would reflect back to the original “DJG’ thread, but I think you are experiencing something that others had figured out and have been enjoying for some time. It may have been harder to recognize the potential, now reality, if one is enamored with the “ITC social element”. Glad you are enjoying it. For me, it’s the only way to fly.

Maybe bubba, but I'd still maintain that on a historical basis, DJGs have rarely panned out well for me for all the reasons I noted. It just so happens that I'm running across more during the COVID era who both have kids and are making shit money during the day. Experiences will differ for sure, but to me the overriding factor is that they have kids to support. Since they are not long for the clubs, now I have to make a choice in whether I want to see them again OTC only. Not sure yet.

I’ve stayed away from clubbing since the start of the pandemic - so I don’t have comparative data.

The situation you describe speaks to the challenges faced by dancers and clubs during these challenging economic times (that appear to effect certain portions of the population more directly).

There are many girls who need more money, and they know there are older guys with deeper pockets who want to “date” them. Meeting you in a strip club allows them to get comfortable with you - and to determine you aren’t one of those online creeps who might chloroform her and feed her to pigs.

Strip clubs appear to be loosening restrictions on the girls allowed to work - and the use of the club to offer otc arrangements. They may be turning more of a blind eye now.

In my view, there are three parts in the strip club business model - strippers, customers and clubs. Two of those three are likely suffering. You are the one who seems to still be doing well, so both of the other parts are looking to you for your money.

And Happy New Year Rick! I hope you enjoy more otc experiences in 2021!

Cash, Happy New Year to you as well and I hope the same for you once your COVID concerns are gone.
