This club recently announced that they've re-opened. Has anybody been there? Can somebody TOFTT and visit the club to see if it's business as usual, or if it's full of plastic dividers and strictly enforced 6-foot distancing?
Oh, Papi! I read "it was wild" and that got my hopes up! I'm vacationing down there in a couple weeks, so I'll find out eventually. Would be nice to get an update first, though.
^ as of yesterday Solid Gold in Pompano had not announced plans to reopen I’m in regular touch with a waitress there and she hadn’t heard from them yet
@dirtyburt- the last time I gave Solid Gold Pompano a shot, it was still only fair-to-middlin' in quality of dancers and overall fun (both weekday afternoon-evening shifts).
I went the first day they opened on Mon Sep 28 and it was atrocious. Nothing like it was before covid. Many of the girls went to Tampa or Texas or Atlanta to dance. One of the managers there told me they just found out they could open the day before and sent out texts to all their old girls. He said to give them a few weeks as most of the girls will come back as they like working there. I pray it will get back to the level it was before covid 🙏🏻 best strip joint in America pre-covid!
I honestly believe that many girls who moved will stay put, especially in Tampa and Texas. The quality of life is just so much better than the east coast of Florida. Atlanta is pretty shitty and not altogether much different than Fort Lauderdale, so I could see some moving back. Not trying to crap on anyone's city, just telling it like it is.
^ I was thinking the same thing a couple of weeks ago - once the SoFLo Cubanas get a taste for life outside of Miami, they may not wanna go back - but I kinda doubt it will happen en-masse - for one, they probably have ties to SoFlo (family, BF, friends, etc) - and for better or worse there really isn't another place like Miami (anywhere else will feel very different if not foreign and/or slow) - IME it usually takes a year+ to get used to living in a new place (but it's different for different people).
I made a little Pompano trip on Friday afternoon. DD was basically BAU. BT & Cheetah were too. A little slow & low on girls for a Friday, but more or less all the same shit. I think I got temp checked at Cheetah & DD, but not BT. I was wearing a mask on entry/exit, but don't think it was being enforced. Girls were wearing masks at all three. Table dances were a mixed bag, I was told no at DD but saw them being done. BT and Cheetah both had them as usual.
BT is mostly opened up/finished. The upstairs isn't done, but parts are.
It wasn't much different than previous visits. Nearly all Latina's, nearly all with excessive modifications to their tits and or asses, very little English speaking, very much factory feel. I guess if pressed I'd say overall attractiveness was a notch down, but not what I'd call terrible.
I'll do a review, but one other thing I guess I should mention is that they weren't allowing stage tipping. Both times I went up to tip a girl on stage, I tried to hand her a couple bucks and a floor guy said "just throw it on the stage and walk away" the second time he was visibly annoyed. But at the same time, I saw other guys sliding bills in garters at the other end of the stage. The same with table dances, the girl I asked said they weren't allowed but at the other end of the club I could see guys getting table dances. Not sure what to make of it.
