They don't "need" a pimp. And therr are very different types of pimps. I think the stereotypical pimp is pretty much gone and real pimping involved the hoe choosing up. Its her choice.

From my understanding - pimping is a lot of work. You make arrangements for housing, and you provide transportation, you arrange for an otc location, etc. You keep them away from drugs.
