The corporate tax reduction under Trump is permanent. The individual tax reduction does expire in 2025.

The reason for the expiration of the personal tax reduction is largely related to games that had to be played to avoid a filibuster by the Democrats. With strong Democrat opposition and less than 60 Republicans in the senate, the bill that enabled the tax cuts had to be revenue neutral.

The original plan was to pass the personal tax cuts under a separate bill. But whether or not that is possible with the spendfest that occurred during the pandemic remains to be seen.
