Huh, there was a Million Dollar in Windsor, Ontario too. Man, me and some buddies had some fun times there. This article touts the "rejuvenation" of the area...... The remodeled building is still vacant. I guess boobies were a better draw:
There’s a club in Phoenix, Christie’s Phoenix, that physically reminds me of the Million Dollar Saloon. It failed its first time around and was failing miserably in its second incarnation before CoVid hit.
Million Dollar Saloon thrived in a time when it was normal to take clients to Titty bars and run it through the expense account. Those days are gone.
Could be said for the clubs in Windsor too when you visited the Windsor Ford Engine Plant during a business trip to Dearborn and a huge group of 20 engineers with lots of $$ in their pockets all hit the clubs for lunch or at the end of the day with their suppliers / customers..... no more.
Like Longball, I visited the Million Dollar Saloon in Windsor, Canada, to see the totally nude dancers. But that was long ago. Windsor strip clubs have declined and most have gone out of business. I don't go to Windsor for any reason any more because I'm always stopped on my way back into the US. US immigration agents make me sit in a little room and answer a lot of questions while they search my car. I must look suspicious.
"Nina doesn’t realize her husband is in the strip club business." How could someone not know what kind of business their spouse is in? That sounds as believable as a mob wife saying they thought their husbands were in "sanitation" in the past.
@Jack - Yeah, I head over to Windsor mainly cuz I get free everything at the casino. The Katzman clubs are really not too bad and with the exchange rate a relative bargain. You can read my reviews. I will say the ladies at Cheetah's especially are usually very attractive.

I visited the Million Dollar Saloon during its first couple years of business. It was pretty incredible.
