OT : BIKERS AND COPS

Is it against the law for a certain number of bikers to ride together down the freeway? I've seen many clips of police trying to pull over/stop groups of bikers or picking on one in particular in a group. Of course they rarely, if ever, succeed. Why do they do this?

In America no one should be harassed by the Police if they’re not breaking the law.
Police are “Profiling” bikers because too many movies, TV shows, books, newspapers articles have created a distorted picture of the Motorcycle Clubs as outlaws.
Only a very small number of motorcycle riders are true outlaws, the so called 1%ers and the police know who they are, because they wear their colors/patches.
Police would regularly stop groups of bikers to try to arrest people with active warrants or that are carrying guns or knives, breaking the law.
It's obvious that most car drivers (cagers) are terrified of them, but as a fellow biker I'm always impressed by how they ride. For example, if they're making a left at a green light, most likely the light will change before they're all through. They have designated riders who stop and block both the oncoming traffic and the cross streets as they proceed through the intersection, kind of like a funeral procession, except there are no cops or blinking lights. Lol. I don't know if it's legal, probably not, but it seems pretty sensible.
We also have a chapter of Hells Angels close by, but for some reason I never see them out riding. https://i.ytimg.com/vi/i9KXLfBRjZk/maxre…
Personally, I don't like riding in groups. Probably because I like to go where I want, for as long as I want, with no preset agenda. At most, I'll ride with two other guys. Even then, it's somewhat restrictive based on everybody's schedule. Riding solo, I sometimes go out for a few hours, and don't come back for two days!
And you're just a fucking idiot!
