Who's watching Rounds 1 and 2 of NFL Draft tonight and tomorrow (or does that sound so lame you'd rather be ROB'd by a methed out toothless 3)? I'll be watching Round 1, perusing Round 2 coverage, and none of Rounds 3-7.
And if so, what players do you want your team to pick/hope they get? For me with the 49ers, I want them to get either WR Jeudy or DT Kinlaw at #13, and then at #31 get center Ruiz (though not a huge area of need) or that cornerback Henderson falls that far (a huge area of need).
I usually watch the first round but no point this year. Already know my Bengals are taking Burrow first unless they Bungle it and trade away the top pick. From what I hear Miami has made some borderline insane offers for the pick, but Mike Brown would have to be stupid to give up the #1 spot with how bad we need a QB... so he will probably give it away.
I usually watch round-1 but hardly ever have patience for rounds 2+ (although this year I may watch rounds 2 & 3 since I don't have nothing else going on) - I am intrigued to see where Tua goes
Well - Dolphins got their guy despite picking 5th - his injury may have been a blessing in disguise at least for the Dolphins - perhaps the Dolphins would not have gotten him at 5 w/o the injury?
No one questions Tua's playing ability. But will he be able to stay healthy ? He sure seemed to get injured a lot in college. And the defensive players in the NFL are all bigger, stronger, faster. Time will tell. But he can throw that ball.
I'm pulling for Tua - but even b/f the injury I was not super-high on him - I felt most of his success was the system/team he was in and the superb NFL talent he had around him - def hope I'm proven wrong but in the end you probably couldn't pass on him
Herbert going to San Diego at #6 - I like him but - seems he has a very high ceiling - question is whether he'll get to that ceiling - I think he's a good-fit @ San Diego
With the inability to do physicals or face-to-face interviews, I suspect there will be more busts this year. The smart move is to trade down and gather more picks in rounds 2-4. Well played, Vikings.
The draft is like Christmas day for fans from every team from but Pats fans, after the first pick was texting my buddy back in Boston said no way I am staying up waiting for their pick (had a 7am conference call) that i know they are going to trade away from wake up and saw it had came true.
i could see them going with Eason instead of from, they are like opposites though Fromm great at reading defenses but arm isn't great, Eason has a cannon but needs better coaching
the top 3 picks played @ ohio state .... #2 and #3 all years at columbus and #1 transferred to lsu after getting his degree @ ohio state and played back=up to J T BArrett
i just read this.......Joe Burrow, Chase Young and Jeff Okudah were teammates at Ohio State in 2017, and the trio made NFL draft history together on Thursday night:
^ I couldn't remember who the RB was - had to look it up (it was the short-guy from LSU) - I probably couldn't remember him in the 1st-round b/c he was the lack pick
Dang - my once mighty Miami Hurricanes whom used to be an NFL factory, not one single player selected in the first 3-rounds - not surprised though - speaks volumes to how much the program has fallen off over the years - probably will hurt recruiting if they can't turn this around
Vikings have 13 picks on day 3. That means 17 total picks in all rounds. Gotta be some kind of record. There are still lots of role players, medical risks, and raw projects on the board. With 13 picks, you can gamble.

My dumbass Falcons took a damn CB for Brady and brees to pick on
Alabama 4
OSU 3
Tua was the firs QB for Nick Saban to be drafted in the 1st-round
Supposedly it was the most watched draft in NFL history - not surprising I guess given the lockdown
They're probably waiting till the 6th-round to get the next Brady
