Not yet. But now that our numbers are dropping, the Governor of FL is putting a task force together to come up with a plan for "resurgence and re-opening" so I'm hopeful.
This is part of the guidelines Mr; Trump is handing down soon
>(CNN)President Donald Trump unveiled new guidelines on Thursday meant to help states loosen their social distancing restrictions but told governors on an afternoon telephone call it was their decision on when and how to reopen their states.
"You are going to call your own shots," Trump said, according to a person familiar with the conversation. "I've gotten to know almost all of you, most of you I've known and some very well. You are all very capable people, I think in all cases, very capable people. And you're going to be calling your shots."
Large venues, including some restaurants, can operate under strict social distancing protocols. Gyms can open as long as they maintain social distancing guidelines, but bars should remain shuttered.<
You now have it bars are going to remain closed for a while, strip clubs are not going to reopen any time soon regardless.
I wanna get back to the gym but it just feels less safe than going to the store (people breathing heavy; machines/weights constantly being touched, etc)
Social distancing rules will need a lot of oversight.
Social distancing police for the new never ending war on Covid. Similar to the never ending way on drugs. Similar to the never ending war on terrorism.
First place I'm going is back to the gym. My gym has bottles of sanitizing spray all over the gym and washcloths to wipe the machines down before you do your set. They had this for years, before Corona was even a thing. I hit the gym regularly all the way up until the shelter in place with no issues so I'm not worried. Open the damn gym!
Sucks that it sounds like strip clubs and bars won't be immediately opening up. I remember predicting that this might happen (strip clubs and dance clubs being the last businesses to reopen) and Wallanon you responded "These are businesses, dude. When those doors can open, I'd put money on them being open.". Hey I want the clubs to reopen as much as anyone else but it's easy to see why they wouldn't open them right away along with the other businesses.
Hi TFP. In the interest of being gracious, I'm not sure where you're going with this. The POTUS can generate guidelines until Hell freezes over and the States will be able to make individual decisions on public welfare. Adviser Kushner and company practically guaranteed a middle finger when he went on National television and told the States they were mostly on their own to get supplies to deal with the pandemic. All the tweets in the world can't rewrite the US Constitution.
From the president's phone call to governors that Twentyfive posted up there, it sounds like it's not just a simple 'on' switch and every business opens back up. Sound like it depends on the type of business the conditions under which they reopen. Then he specifically stated that bars were to remain shuttered. I believe nightclubs and strip clubs will be included in that group based on the type of businesses they are.
But like you said, it's up to each individual governor ultimately. I'm interested to see just how many states allow strip clubs to reopen immediately along with all the other businesses.
I would imagine that most states classify strip clubs the same as bars and liquor-licensed entertainment venues like nightclubs. I doubt they will filter out strip clubs from re-opening unless they strictly classify them as something different like an adult entertainment venue. Municipalities may filter down to the individual business type level.
I remember in New Orleans, after Katrina, strip clubs reopened long before the dancers returned. Even without dancers, and just showing adult films on the TVs or even nothing at all, they were packed with restoration workers getting drunk and hoping for naked women.
This is different insofar as there has not been a lot of cheap housing destroyed, and no massive influx of restoration workers to fix that. However, with all the free money the government is giving out, we may not see strippers return in large numbers until 2021.
Looks like MT will allow bars to open May 4th. Wonder if that includes strip clubs? They have a few clubs and dancers from WA sometimes go out there to dance. That is the first state that I have seen that mentions bars being allowed to open.
I'm with TFP and Papi in stating that I'm more concerned with the gym than the strip club as that takes precedence over some half dressed boozed sodden tackhead trick.
Anyone on Utah? I want to hear how it went in the club wearing gloves, masks, and practicing social distancing lol.
On a serious note, based on the reviews I read about Utah clubs I couldn't give a rats ass how it went in there before or after Corona. The reviews make those places sound like air dances and no touching. No fucking thanks. Let me know when Diamond Dolls in PB or Follies opens up then we'll REALLY see if there are changes or not.
Club Onyx in Houston tried opening yesterday as a resturant with entertainers and got raided right away by police and fire marshall. The owner feels he has the proper permits as the Govenors order says returants could reopen. Says he will open again tonight.
A strip club that sells food is a *strip club* that sells food -I don't think a strip club can pass itself off as any other restaurant unless there is no nudity or dances for $$$
He is using the argument that his Health Dept permit lists the club as full service resturant. TX said resturants could open May 1st at 25 % capacity. So he opened at midnight and had everyone wearing masks including customers and practicing social distancing. No lap dances.
I wonder if that's actually viable for the club? I mean how much money would they really make from just 25% of the potential max amount of customers just buying food and tipping the stage?
I wonder if there's a thread at Stripperweb about this. Can girls actually 'bank' with this model or will they see after a week that it's not the same.
Club Onyx is an upscale black club - when I was there last year I didn't see that much spending going on nor that much of a crowd (it was a Fr night) - the mileage IME was not that high but the ebony-dancers were attractive - a black club would probably do better w.r.t. stage tips but on my visit I didn't see much of it although I left a bit past midnight and it's a late closing club (perhaps it gets busy very-late).
So many people with masks on it's getting to be the norm. Walking around Sam's yesterday I found myself thinking, as a checked out a female customer..... "She looks pretty; I wonder what she looks like without her mask on?".... seriously..... Possibly the dancers will flash their face for that $1 tip and boobs for $2. These clubs are just trying to make some money, any money to survive. Would I support one locally despite some restrictions? Why not.... in the meantime:
One place I was at over the weekend the dancers were offering heavily discounted dance bundles because of social distancing weirdness. I paid full price for two because I couldn't hold back from laughing anymore and I knew business was slow. There were idiots nearby talking about something so idiotic I couldn't block it out. At least there are a couple of clubs in town trying to run their entertainment the right way.
Saw on Twitter that Masters in Myrtle Beach opens June 15. Didn’t see dates posted for any other clubs. Damnit I have golf trip down there just before then
I know a girl that dances in TX and she told me her club just opened. But girls have to wear masks and LD is 3 feet apart and they have a tip bucket on stage. Who would pay for something like that? I have a 19 y.o. coming over to the house this weekend to give me some 'dances".
Treasure Club in Greensboro posted online that they are open. Seems as if having a menu is allowing them to be classified as restaurant. Maybe they should tip me for all the dancers I asked what was on their menu 😎.
I tried to call and ask about masks/social distancing but phone message still said they were closed
I’ve gotten a few texts from friends telling me about secretly open clubs, I haven’t partaken and don’t expect to but there are a few smaller clubs in my area that are operating under the radar.
Denver Clubs are back open. One club opened last night. Two clubs have it on their website they are opening tonight. Both clubs open tonight require reservations (50 people max allowed)
Not yet. I haven’t been in yet. I did drive past one club and it seemed to be moderately busy. I’d assume reservations don’t matter if not enough people have done it and the cover charge is already standing in front of you.

Depends on if the clubs sell alcohol, too.
