People who have direct deposit through credit unions, chime netspend etc. are getting payments first. Those with regular banks should receive payments tomorrow or Wednesday.

They will be in the mail early next week. If you want your money sooner, then set up a direct deposit when submit your taxes. Stimulus checks during the 2008/2009 financial crisis took almost two months to be distributed.

^ I don't think the mailed checks are delayed because his name is being added that is probably a simple thing the problem is that they are scheduled to be mailed after all of the direct deposits, and starting next week they will be sending out 5 million checks a week at max capacity, they say they have between 45-60 million to mail out at the rate of 5 million per week it will be between 6 weeks and 2 months before every one of the stimulus checks are mailed out.
