News outlets are reporting that some payments went out over the weekend. I remembered seeing some news article over the weekend I didn't read and can't find now, but found another article about it. google.com

While I haven't gotten mine yet I do know several people that got theirs on Saturday. All the people that I know who got their money on Saturday are lower income (guesstimate <$25k/year) individuals who receive direct deposit.

They will be in the mail early next week. If you want your money sooner, then set up a direct deposit when submit your taxes. Stimulus checks during the 2008/2009 financial crisis took almost two months to be distributed.

^ I don't think the mailed checks are delayed because his name is being added that is probably a simple thing the problem is that they are scheduled to be mailed after all of the direct deposits, and starting next week they will be sending out 5 million checks a week at max capacity, they say they have between 45-60 million to mail out at the rate of 5 million per week it will be between 6 weeks and 2 months before every one of the stimulus checks are mailed out.
