House fees in Vegas clubs

Question for the Vegas-based PLs:
I'm texting with a former LA-based dancer that I've been trying to convert to OTC for a long time. She moved to Vegas 2 years ago, but visits LA (family) 2 times a year. She's telling me she needs cash to pay a 'house fee' at Centerfolds of $65 before she can start her shift. No upfront payment, no work. And after paying the house fee and working a shift, she is still required to pay a 20% tip out at the end of her shift.
Of course I'm not going to do it. Never pay in advance, especially long distance! But I'm trying to decide if I should call BS or just keep fake-empathizing and say I can't help her until she gets to see me in LA.
So, house fees to start a shift? True deal?

I've only been to Centerfolds once and didn't spend any money (so no review).
Well, if she ends up under my covers next week the question will be moot.
House fees range from $20 to $150 depending on the shift and club.
Some clubs do require an upfront house fee. But I don't know if that club does
Also they may make her pay up front if she has a habit of not paying her house fee or not making enough to cover it or haggling them about it.
