House fees in Vegas clubs

Question for the Vegas-based PLs:

I'm texting with a former LA-based dancer that I've been trying to convert to OTC for a long time. She moved to Vegas 2 years ago, but visits LA (family) 2 times a year. She's telling me she needs cash to pay a 'house fee' at Centerfolds of $65 before she can start her shift. No upfront payment, no work. And after paying the house fee and working a shift, she is still required to pay a 20% tip out at the end of her shift.

Of course I'm not going to do it. Never pay in advance, especially long distance! But I'm trying to decide if I should call BS or just keep fake-empathizing and say I can't help her until she gets to see me in LA.

So, house fees to start a shift? True deal?

Not every club operates the same but would not doubt some require house-fee upfront but IDK how each individual club works

I'm not sure about the 20% but Little Darlings has a 33% tip out per dance/VIP so it might make sense. The $65 house fee sounds reasonable though.

I've only been to Centerfolds once and didn't spend any money (so no review).

Thanks for the feedback. The club has no reviews since early this year.

Well, if she ends up under my covers next week the question will be moot.

Some clubs don't require house fee upfront; the stripper can earn it, then pay it. On a real slow night, they might waive the house fee because dancers not making enough.

Tip outs are minimal. Theyre not percentage based in Vegas. A $10 to $20 tip per bartender DJ etc is acceptable in Vegas clubs. Some smaller clubs have a $5 minimum.

House fees range from $20 to $150 depending on the shift and club.

Some clubs do require an upfront house fee. But I don't know if that club does

    Yes, this is real.

Also they may make her pay up front if she has a habit of not paying her house fee or not making enough to cover it or haggling them about it.

My experience from talking to many of these girls is that they will let the girls work a few shifts before demanding their fees upfront, but if the girls don’t cover those first few shifts they will come down hard, and not allow them to work until the fees are paid.
