The political issues of our day do not exist in vacuums, not unless people try to look at them that way.

Our society is heading straight for a cliff. More than anything this is because the Right continues to believe that it can rule by putting out the message that poor people have a character disorder, while the number of living wage jobs continues to shrink.

Here in San Jose, we have 4300 homeless students at San Jose State. The vast majority are employed, but all the only place they can afford to live is in their cars.

But these struggling students then have to listen to the likes of SkiBum, Meat72, and Dadillac insulting them.

This is an explosive situation. There is no vacuum Nicole, except for the one you have created for yourself.
