ACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A Southside strip club was temporarily shut down after a Jacksonville Sheriff's Office undercover vice raid and fire inspection this weekend.

It's the latest in a string of recent Jacksonville strip club raids.

JSO vice officers went undercover Saturday night at Emperors Gentlemen's Club at 4923 University Blvd. West.

They arrested eight dancers on various charges, including exposure of body parts and simulating a sex act. One of the women, Quintana Estrada Grettel de la Caridad, was also charged with prostitution after investigators said she began a sexual conversation with an officer.

JSO called the fire marshal, and the inspection that resulted led to a cease and desist order, temporarily shutting the club down.

City officials said one of the problems was that Emperors recently increased its occupancy to more than 300 people, and it was out of compliance with the fire code.

The women arrested are:

Megan Hardy, 25
Quintana Estrada Grettel de la Caridad, 28
Taylor Gentry, 21
Angelica Castro, 26
Mykaela Lefort, 28
Christina Mushrush, 30
Stephanie Medina, 29
Nadia Sutton

There's been rumors in the Jax reviews about this shit - looks like they're trying to shut down the fun in Jax probably in the holy name of human trafficking

They've been doing it to clubs all over J'ville. Basically they are dragging girls out in cuffs for showing titty, which is technically illegal in J'ville for clubs that serve booze.

Funny thing is that the judge in the case of the Centerfold girls chastised LE for being this extreme and dismissed the charges against the girls. But that hasn't deterred LE as their real goal seems to be to get headlines and give shit to the clubs.

In a city with such a high murder rate and an out of control drug epidemic, you'd think that LE would have better things to do. But the Twat behind all of this thinks that exposed titty deserves the big push, so here we are.

It is a waste of time and tax payer dollars. The vast majority of times the charges won't stick, but look what they've done to the poor girls. Names and faces in the papers and on the internet. Going to come up in every job they ever apply to forever more with just a simple Google search of their name. All because some dipshit county sheriff or state attorney wants an easy press conference and three minutes on the nightly local news. Think how much that three minutes would cost if it was run as a campaign ad. That's the main reason most raids occur.

^From what I've heard this is being driven by the State Attorney for the 4th Circuit, who is an elected official. Having been unsuccessful in doing anything to tackle the murder rates, drug crimes of other serious issues, she has now turned her sights on strip clubs. As others have alluded to, she has an election coming in 2020, though usually this stuff would happen closer to election time.

What a waste of police and fire personal. I would have received dances from a couple of them. Being a tranny is normal but a man buying sex from a woman is a crime.

Seems often times it's female politicians that wanna take a hatchet to strip clubs
