Florida Panhandle v.2
wiffle shwaffle
As of tomorrow, I will have lived here for 3 weeks. I had a very emotional last week in Detroit because the staff and most of the entertainers at my two home clubs there treated me with respect and I only ever had good experiences and (mostly) good things to say from an entertainer's perspective.
I cleaned my locker out at Deja Vu and was hanging out at Legends two nights later. I ran into one of the managers (who would get dances from me at Legends sometimes) and he suggested I go plout to Ypsi because the female manager was really bummed she didn't get to say bye to me. I drove out there from downtown Detroit to surprise her and my friends there. The manager and DJ at Deja Vu put me on stage for a "hot seat" as a send off. I received so many boobs and one bare vagina in my face. The DJ gave me a lap dance during the hot seat, too. We took a group photo, but I can't share it online due to protecting entertainer privacy and safety. I got drunk that night. DV is known for not serving alcohol, but trust me, it's in there. The DJ and I shared a lot of shots and a lot of photos were taken with my favorite co-workers and staff. It was a great night, yet really emotional for me.
My last weekend at Legends was monetarily awful. I had a longtime customer come in on my last Saturday there and we hung out for most of the evening. I got to work with most of my favorite entertainers and good friends at least one night of that weekend. My favorite manager there, who can be a little intimidating, gave me a hug and told me I'm always welcome back. My two agents came in to say bye to me as well. They assured me my stage name would still be available for me to use for, at least, the rest of this year when I go back to visit and work.
That club was in the process of making a lot of changes to entertainers' schedules and the Motor City Showgirls are now providing entertainers as they no longer do so for Coliseum.
Regardless, I left Detroit with really great memories and experiences from my two home clubs.
The move to Pcola was really rough. I only had two and a half weeks notice to move because I was approved for an apartment and they wanted it filled immediately otherwise they were going to move on to the next applicant. Needless to say, I was not financially ready. This has been an expensive move. Registering my car here is going to cost me around $400. Also, my car was damaged on the U-Haul transport, so I was without a car for the first week and a half. I *hate* my apartment. Unfortunately, I was not able to view it when I visited the property last month because somebody was living in it at the time. But the property manager showed me a model apartment and I was told the two were identical. That was a lie. I haven't decided if I want to buy my lease out ($1,300) or suck it up for deal with it for a year.
Anyway... I returned to Eden last night. It was my first night of work since moving. Last night made me REALLY miss Detroit and I got homesick. I don't think I can handle working here weeknights. It's too slow and too boring. I'm trying tomorrow night (Friday) at Eden. Everyone keeps telling me to wait it out because it gets good on the weekends. One of the girls last night told me $400 is considered a good night at Eden. Perhaps I'm just used to Legends money and stage rain, but $400 for a good night comparison really depressed and discouraged me. The club is open until 3am every night and nobody even came in after 1:30am.
So, basically, what clubs do you gentlemen (and fellow entertainers) suggest I check out? I'm considering New Orleans (3.5 hrs away), Panama City (2.5 hrs away), and Tampa (6 hrs away). I've read some reviews for PC and New Orleans, but the review info didn't contain information that would be particularly useful to me. Any advice or suggestions?

In Tampa, there is Mons Venus ( but they have their "type" ). Scores is busy Wednesday thru Saturday. Dollhouse probably has the biggest crowds. It's a pasties club. Tampa is either Nude with no liquor or pasties with liquor.
Pinellas County has Oz. I hate Oz but it's busy. I hate it because it's $35 dances. I actually think most of the crowd is just there to drink. Then Diamond Doll's in Clearwater can have nice crowds if you are willing to be a little naughty. It's expected there.
Then up in Pasco County, there is Bare Assets. No pasties and the serve liquor. And they allow extra activity. I would think this is the best money making place for girls. But it's only going to be full Thursday thru Saturday.
Also keep in mind that Tampa is very seasonal. You have missed the snowbird season. Summer isn't bad. Fall is very slow in the Tampa area.
PM me if you have specific questions.
I'm going to write a dancer's perspective review (probably on Tuesday), but I don't know if I want to review Eden or Legends (again). Legends was making a lot of changes and increased tip out rates right before I left which would make for good content. However, I don't believe there are any FL Panhandle reviews written for/by dancer's yet.
Which review do you guys would be more beneficial?
And also, I seriously open to any advice on clubs to travel to still. :)
I'm going to caution you against spending a lot of time and money exploring other parts of Florida to dance right now because things slow down dramatically everywhere this time of year. The snowbirds head north for the Summer, the kids are out of school and the tourist traffic slows down because it is too hot. The reason that Eden is hopping on weekends probably has a lot to do with the local military bases full of young guys with money to burn. You just came during a tough time of year for FL clubs and you'll be hard pressed to find any club anywhere - including Tampa - that is hopping during weekdays.
I am speaking from experience as I have clubbed all over Florida during the Summer months with the exception of the Miami area and the Keys. Tampa and Clearwater are not going to save you between now and September, especially during weekdays. I've heard that New Orleans slows down too, but I have not been there in person in the Summer.
IMHO your best bet is to find the club closest to the front entrance of the largest military base in Pensacola and ride out the Summer. Either that or expand your travel radius and head further north.
But IMHO 25 is right on the mark about the beach towns from Georgia through Virginia. You could start in Savannah Georgia, which gets busy during the summer, and work your way up.
If you think you could be doing better at another club, then just try the next closest one to where you are now at. Don't let people lure you far from home or into relocating.
Dancers usually exaggerate when they talk about how much money they get. They extrapolate on their best night.
Not worth having to leave what base of support you may have at home, and your regulars too.

@rockie thank you so much for the valuable info!!
Out of the three you mentioned, New Orleans would probably be the most lucrative. Plus Nola is just a cool place anyway.
If you hate your apartment and can get approved for one you like, you should buy out your lease. Don't live in an apartment you hate, when you could live somewhere that makes you happy.
