OT- Public Service Announcement: Bitcoin is back, and revving its engines.

Saturday, May 11, 2019 4:37 PM
Looking at the chart of Bitcoin on logarithmic scale since its inception, the price has entered a parabolic cycle near each halving (if you don't know what Bitcoin halving is, look it up). Each parabolic cycle has seen all-time-highs that are orders of magnitude greater than previous all-time-highs. And we are currently not anywhere near an all-time-high. Looking at the logarithmic chart, its estimated that the price of Bitcoin will peak this coming cycle at $50,000 to $120,000 per Bitcoin. So, instead of getting 10 to 15% in stock market, Bitcoin may increase in value by 10x to 15x (1000% to 1500%).

The last time myself and others HYPED Bitcoin in a major way, the price was near the top. This time, I'm sounding the alarm early. If Bitcoin hits $50,000, I will create a new thread with a link to this thread, just to show you "I told you so."

FTS, SCOTUS decided in the case of one Charles Ponzi that such schemes are fraud. The decision was written by the Chief Justice, and a former President, William Howard Taft. They gave Ponzi a lengthy prison term, and then they voided his naturalized citizenship and deported him. For a while he worked for Mussolini, they seeing him as some kind of financial expert. But even that did not last. He died ill and broke, in South America.

If you FTS for some reason cannot see that there are better things you could do with your time and money, then I really don't know what to say to you.

I only like this heavily track overlaid studio recording of this song, not any of the live versions. Cause of the singer's style. And I don't so much like the other guys who usually sings this either.

Glenn Campbell, experience really shows, in my opinion. They have a four string bass player, but notice the guy who solos on the six string bass.

SJG, I can't believe you have any advanced degree in physics because that generally requires critical thinking skills, of which you clearly have very little. Ponzi schemes have a particular structure and the fact is that Bitcoin bears no resemblance to a Ponzi scheme. Ponzi schemes are illegal! Bitcoin has been in the public eye, and in the news, for quite some time. The SEC has even made public statements about Bitcoin because they may ultimately come to regulate cryptocurrency trading. Would they do that if it was a Ponzi scheme? USE YOUR FUCKING BRAIN, SJG!

Here's a question, if Bitcoin was merely a Ponzi scheme, why would US House Representative Brad Sherman admit just a couple of days ago that cryptocurrencies have an advantage over sovereign currencies, and propose a bill to ban cryptocurrencies? Hellooooo... if it was a Ponzi scheme then they'd just send the FBI to raid somebody's office!

FTS, hard to believe that you can't see that their must be better things for you to do with your time and money, then help to further a Ponzi Scheme.

^^^ Hey SJG, that "Ponzi Scheme" [sarcasm] got me a 36% return on a $23k investment... in 2 months. Bitcoin hit a new high today while I was out shopping, my investment grew by another $1k, so I decided to by myself a little gift.

So, you can go suck my Ponzi-scheming dick.
