future POTUS and Senator in training
Retired Queen Troll of TUSCL...who will succeed my reign?
Would like to write a blog on the psychology of competition after a few years , as internal competition and Wordly success are often considered to be mutually exclusive, which I believe negatively impacts the quality of education received by each child.

I'm not making an argument against "the rat race" , I'm making an argument for how people from an early age are taught to win it.

Once you recognize that your internal growth can literally drive the competition of whatever you are pursuing in the world (if you're in the right market/niche to start with) , it'll be hard not to priortize being consistent daily over anything else

Kids are taught from an early age to think about the outcome. That's important , but the moment you prioritize the outcome over the internal growth that is necessary to obtain it is when you tell yourself that you are less capable. Can't really perform at your best with that kind of mentality . And then same kids receive criticism from parents, coaches, teachers, etc when they don't win certain games or get certain jobs...hmm..I wonder why that is? Lmao.

I think failure is a very important part of life. Learning to cope with failure, rejection, loss, etc as a kid teaches coping skills and resilience. In the end, its not about who is the smartest or most talented or most intelligent. Its about who is resilient and doesn't give and keeps finding a way to succeed....although success is relative.

Worrying about being the best or succeeding just stunts personal growth and is unrealistic. When you really get into white collar fields like law or medicine or whatever, you work as a team....and if you can't do that you're the weak link. If you get into any kind of legal sub field dealing with crime or the law as such, its not about beating the other side, its about pursuing justice...whatever it might be. Thinking about it as a competition is wrong. Even if you're an ambulance chaser or divorce attorney or some shit like that, you have relations with judges, other attorneys, insurance companies, etc... the point of Discovery is to work to avoid a trial.

You do what you can and your results show for themselves but its not about going out there like a pit bull. You'll quickly get sanctioned and put in your place lol

I have never told myself that I am less capable of doing anything. I have had couches tell me I could not do something, but that just pissed me off to the point of proving them wrong. My only parent (mother) was generally very encouraging with exception of me wanting to study martial arts as one of my obsessions from age 8 to infinity; she told me that it would make my “circle” too small. That pissed me off to the point I proved her wrong. Met so many good people of all walks of life in my martial arts circles (drs, lawyers, rich, poor, famous, infamous, righteous and assholes). It even taught me the discipline to get accepted into a professional school with an average GPA of 2.5 when all the other students were averaging 3.8. My desire to make it when others told me I couldn’t is what got me where I am. School counselors told me that I would NEVER make a Doctor of anything. Pissed me off so I proved them wrong. The most influential people in my life were my martial arts instructors and my Chines College Chemistry instructor who barely spoke English; He was probably the most influential in my decision to Pursue my career path. I received C’s in both his Organic Chemistry classes and yet he told me that I probably received Cs because HE was hard for me to understand. The bottom line to my current rant is that YOU and ONLY YOU can get what you want out of life. Do not listen to the negative. Listen to the positive while turning all the negative 180 degrees. Just do it!

Couches. Lol. Holy shit. I meant COACHES! Too many lap dances got my fingers tangled up.
Um I made that post because kids at a young age are pressured to do a lot of things. You see it with football coaches, teachers etc. So that is why i made this post. Even if it isn't explicit, theres an expectation society has.
I'm trying to target that expectation .

I think you would find an audience
@icey my goal was always to reach the highest standard and I achieved that my being mentally sane bc I was ok with it if it didnt happen

Stop discouraging people from wanting to be the best, because I know that it is possible to do without ruining yourself.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to compete for the highest standard. It only becomes problematic when you feel like you have to or dont have the right mentality.

TBH nobody's jealous of Beta CCuck.

And TBH IceyDodo keeps trolling like she did when she joined. LOL she sounds like she has no issues with a young trick like Beta CCuck but if it's an old trick it's a different story. LMAO @ the hypocrisy!

^ hey @Beta CCuck, FYI you don't have to respond to everyone. When you respond to a threadjack, you're threadjacking too.

This is a classic example of your myopic and subjective way of thinking. It's kinda immature and bratty. LMAO.

BTW @FishHawk I agree with your OP. Strippers are people too and they do have a tough job which is constantly to please and entertain.

^ I tried to actually help and engage him once too but I realized his mind is closed to his own myopic and subjective world view. Then he trolled me and eventually blocked me.

@twentyfive you gotta realize that Beta CCuck is lonely and depressed like san_jose_creep and so he's always yearning for someone to engage in conversation with him and have an pointless argument for pointless arguments sake. He wants conversation/argument with anybody and everybody that will have it with him. No matter what you say to him he's gonna nitpick it and consider it "scintillating conversation". Bank on this.

@Beta CCuck posted -> "I am very opinionated but that's pretty much it"

^ ROFLMAO!!! You are incapable of even seeing all your own issues. Kinda like a brat. LOL

@Subra being amazed and flabbergasted is more accurate with me than admiring. I feel a little sad for her too.

Also I've always been open to the possibility of your theory on "her". I totally see your point about her being a past troll, but note that I never claimed that she's a run-of-the-mill SW girl. She's just as obsessed about trolling as you who you surmise her to really be. And I just think writing style is hard to fake when you cross genders. So that is why I still have high confidence that she's a woman or at the very least she's a highly effeminate man. Regardless, I'm glad we are aligned in that she's a troll and has always had that intention. Plus it's just fun game to figure her out.

^ As stated, CC is an extremely passive-aggressive troll and he continues to provide examples, ad nauseum.

Also I LOL every time I think of IceyDodo paying for VIP access on the site for the sole purpose of trolling what he called the "circle jerk". ROFLMAO she actually PAID out of pocket to threadjack!

@IceyDodo my bad I was referring to a different thread regarding Papi_Chulo and TFP. But my point is the same. There's no circle jerk or anything like that. Just don't be a troll and you won't be persona non grata.

Specific Symptoms of a Manic Episode
In order for a manic episode to be diagnosed, three (3) or more of the following symptoms must be present:

-Inflated self-esteem or grandiosity
-Decreased need for sleep (e.g., one feels rested after only 3 hours of sleep)
-More talkative than usual or pressure to keep talking
-Flight of ideas or subjective experience that thoughts are racing
-Attention is easily drawn to unimportant or irrelevant items
-Increase in goal-directed activity (either socially, at work or school; or sexually) or psychomotor agitation
-Excessive involvement in pleasurable activities that have a high potential for painful consequences (e.g., engaging in unrestrained buying sprees, sexual indiscretions, or foolish business investments)
-Inflated self-esteem is typically present, ranging from uncritical self-confidence to marked grandiosity, and may reach delusional proportions. Individuals may give advice on matters about which they have no special knowledge (e.g., how to run the United Nations). Despite lack of any particular experience or talent, the individual may embark on writing a novel or composing a symphony or seek publicity for some impractical invention. Grandiose delusions are common (e.g., having a special relationship to God or to some public figure from the political, religious, or entertainment world)."

I'm not discouraging anyone, I'm just stating what reality is like. You become the "best" via the results of your work...and the impact you have on the firm, your community, etc. And it takes time and a mistake can knock you down... Real life is more about working with others rather than competing with them though.
