I rarely drink soda any more but, I remember a few of these failed sodas. Which ones do you remember?
The one I remember the most was Crystal Pepsi. I had a friend that got pissed when they discontinued it. He even yelled at some store workers over it... lol
Jolt was terrible. So much caffeine it would make me sick after the crash with a Headache from hell.
One on I did not see on this list was Pepsi Free

Jolt and Tab tasted horrible. Crystal Pepsi was out of place and underwhelming.

For bargain shoppers... Winn Dixie actually has a pretty good store brand cola and Shasta cola is pretty damn good. Not as good as Coke but much better than Pepsi.
As a kid I wasn't big in experimenting with sidas, stuck mainly to Coke and a Sunkist once in a while.
Materva and Ironbeer are fairly popular with the Cubans down here.
When I was a kid we went to the all you can eat like Golden Corral. We would make a suicide drink. Take a little of each soda in our glass and invent our own. This gave is the farts on the way home

Surge is still around. It is sold at gas stations in some areas, and I think it is exclusively in the Coke Freestyle soda fountains at Burger Kings. I must've been one of the few people who liked Pepsi Blue.
