Anyone use their global entry card for re-entry into the US from Tijuana. I have two work trips to San Diego coming up and will leave passport at home if I don’t need it. Thx
“We accept Global Entry cards for lawful U.S. entry at land and sea ports of entry. Global Entry cards have radio frequency identification chips, which enable their use at Secure Electronic Network for Travelers Rapid Inspection (SENTRI) and NEXUS travel lanes when entering the United States at the land borders. You must follow all program rules for SENTRI when using this card at the Southern land border ports of entry.”
However things keep changing, I would bring my passport just in case, better safe than sorry.

I assume you are aware of the FFM (Forma Migratoria Múltiple) form to visit Mexico.
This is the Mexican website with the official information: www.inm.gob.mx
While in Mexico you are supposed to carry the FMM card and your passport at all times and presented it to any government officials that ask to see them.
Again my general recommendation: Behave like a gentleman and you will be treated as a gentleman. Behave like a ugly rude American and you will be treated like a ugly rude American.
From my comment on the “Appearance leading to better service discussions”
“People greet you according to the way you dress and say goodbay according to the way you behave"
Relax and enjoy, nothing is going to be like you imagine or expect or someone else told you. Your experience will be unique, just be prepared for the worst and hope for the best so there will be no surprises.
Again enjoy the experience and write about it to let us now the latest information.

The global entry card does help getting into the USA quicker when there is a line waiting for the regular entry or ready lane.
