I voted Libertarian in 2016, but I could vote for Trump in 2020. He has learned the job, I can justify sticking with the devil we know. Especially if the Democrats go full steam into the far left with their next nominee.

There’s quite a few dumb people that don’t like Trump and more than a few smart people that do, I would hesitate to use Trump as the dividing line between smart and dumb.

Trump himself wasn't that stupid, he beat the left and Hillary. Losers been sore losers ever since. complaining, whining, calling names of anyone who voted for the winner ever since. I personally thinkTrump acts like an a..hole a lot but thought he was better than Hillary.

Nope. Nothing trump can do that Hillary can't. But there's a lot of things Hillary can do that trump can't..like knowing how to act professionally and not insult disabled people for no.reason ?

I voted for Trump and am pretty proud of it. Trump is like 33 years older than me, so I'm not sure how we became best friends and starting baking cookies, but I do know I'll never vote for a liberal ever. Liberal policies sound like what you get if you ask a 3 year old how to run the country, and after they describe it, everyone says awwww, that's adorable.

1994,

Thank's for the clarification, " the dumb". Also can apply to many that vote and on both sides or in the middle. It's the uniformed that vote that scare the hell out of me. Example #1: It's the 110,318 (78%) of the voters that voted for AOC and those like them that scare me! Obviously uninformed or, as you say dumb!

@general would u vote for me

@general the only difference between libs and conservatives is that libs spend money on poor, conservatives use the money from tax cuts to spend on military .they both almost same amt money..just on different populations.id rather spend money on poor than uneccessary things

And hey guys ..you guys love to save money ? Then why did u vote for a dude that is gonna spend one billion not on welfare programs ..but for an unnecessary wall? Lmao .

Except, apparently, win a presidential election.

Nope. What Hilary can do is overwhelmingly win the popular vote ..something trump cant do. What trump can do is somehow get electoral college to vote for him depsite popular vote going. SIGNIFICANTLY the other way..trump can win a fraud of an election .

^^ Hillary's campaign knew the ground rules... Win the electoral college. There were many articles after the election about local advisors in the Midwest trying to communicate with the national campaign, to tell them they were in danger taking those states for granted.

Trump did not run a brilliant campaign - but Hillary ran a complacent one.

Nicole, as an aspiring lawyer, you might want to take some time to read the Constitution, you know, the foundation of our system of government, and learn what it takes to win a presidential election.

Hint: It doesn’t involve winning the “popular” vote. The EC voted according to the rules set up in the Federal Constitution and the various State laws involved. There’s no mystery about his “somehow get[ing] [the] electoral college to vote for him despite...”

Hey George....but theres a also a legit debate going around in both society and in academia about the extent to which the electoral college is unnecessary or may hinder the Democratic ideals of which the constitution is rooted in ..

Nicole, this country is not a democracy. It was never intended to be democratic. The Founders were well aware of what a democratic, i.e. “mob rule” government could do to individual liberty and wanted no part of it. The creation of the RC was a deliberate attempt to prevent democracy, as were the bicameral legislature, and the Supreme Court. They’re all there to directly thwart the “will of the majority” from from bringing tyranny to the minority. And it’s stupid fucking idiots who can’t see that who are the biggest danger, second even to fascist politicians, to this country. Those politicians couldn’t get away with their shit without the help of morons who won’t bother to learn why the Founders did what they did.

“...creation of the EC...”

The Constitution isn’t “rooted in democratic ideals”. A simple reading of it would show that.

But keep paying no attention to the words that are actually there. Watch the country burn even more.

@ George we are a Democratic republic .

We elect representivies to represent us..and sure the EC may be a way to do that but is the EC really fair when it goes against the vote of the ppl for the highest office in America?

Sure..it may be a way to ensure that a mentally ill, narcissistic , pussy grabbing tyrant isn't elected into office .

oh wait.....................LOL.

Yeah you may be right but that's insignificant ..because wheyher we are a con Republican or a Democratic one doesnt change the fact that there has been a good debate going on about whether or not we should have the electoral college .

0

whether we arre a dem republic or con republic doesn't change the fact that the EC voted for a candidate that the majority of americans overwhelmingly chose not to support and thus may be ineffective, in the same way that whether a government is totalitarian or authoritarian doesn't change the fact that requiring its people to pray to the president of the country with that system of government is outrageous.

the fact that we are a const. repub or dem repub does not change the fact that the purpose of the constitution and bill of rights was to provide americans with a relatively more democratic system of government compared to monarchy having control over it. can't say the constitution when the very preamble matches what a democracy stands for.

First thing I do when having an applicant answer “where do you see yourself in 5 years” is not to actually inquire if this employee has his/her future in mind, rather to see how this applicant can communicate with writing skills. If they do a poor performance of writing and communicating then it tells me one of two things.... A. this person pays litttle to no attention to the finer things or details. B. This person is too stupid to where he/she probably won’t wven be around in 5 years.

My point is that Nicole’s statements aren’t what worries me as a possible collegiate eventually entering the workforce someday, it’s that she is either too stupid or too lazy to give attention to details for effective communication, therefore rendering her as an incorrigible idealist.

The real world will slap the shit out of her before any male penis has the chance to take her virginity. Ok, bye!

She would have been. But I try to look at what good can come out of the Trump presidency, I think its the jolt that the country needs to realize that the only real option is to move left.... Americans want what others in the developed world take for granted. Trumps extremism will cause a backlash... people will go left.

Has Trump Taken Down Our Democratic Republic?
youtube.com

Trump and his party and his backers like Stephan Bannon use conservative cultural shibboleths to promote an economic system which completely devalues real work and is completely exploitative and unworkable. It is nothing more than a spoils system, a way of pocketing money.

Bernie Sanders, why Socialism is better than Capitalism
youtube.com

Actually even with Medicare for All, Free College, and The Green New Deal, and with UBI which Sanders is not even talking about, you still do not have Socialism.

For that you would have to also get to public ownership of all large and strategic industries.

And Sanders is only talking about Democratic Socialism.

So workers actually deliver the goods and services which are needed, not just run on a treadmill to the benefit of the financializers, while being mocked and called "losers".
