The ones who attempt to gain citizenship the correct and legal ways are just fine. The asshats in their caravans who think our nation is a free for all with free shit can go to hell.
But the problem is that somehow a large number of White Evangelical Christians, White Working Class, and White Middle Class, decided for themselves that it is they who are Strangers in Their Own Land.
A very well done work, based on living in the Lake Charles area of Louisiana and trying to understand the anti-government sentiment, and the anti-environmentalist sentiment, when it is actually their region which has been severely environmentally devastated, as well as badly harmed by all the polities of the Right.
Funniest thing is, these morons oppose immigrants for stealing jobs and well, for their very presence... But have no problem with the private businesses that enable and lure immigrants and pay them illegally low wages rather than hire American workers. I mean how stupid can you be to hate Jose for being here illegally, but support Bob for hiring him illegally rather than an American, Bill for renting to him illegally instead of to an American family, etc....
Oh, yes. All foreigners are worthless bastards.....just ask the native Americans (not to mention the native Canadians, Mayans, Arawaks, Aztecs, Incas.....) who if they had had a similar attitude should have pushed the white Europeans back into the sea.
And don't even let me get started on the Irish, Germans, Scandanavians, Poles, Italians, and skibums that have sullied our blessed shores
