What is your way of dealing with a dancer that offers less than what is normal in the club, during a lapdance?
(I know clubs are different in terms touching, etc - hence kept is general).
1. Dancer offers way less than normal.
I fire her even if the song just started. Give her the severance pay ($20) and say bye. Don't want a buzzkill. No matter how hot the dancer is.
Doesn't happen in local clubs but sometimes in out of town clubs.
2. Dancer offers a bit less than normal.
I let her complete the first dance but lose interest in her. May even play with my phone when she is dancing. Let her go after the song is done.
3. Dancer offers more than normal.
Stack more dances. Ask her what pleases her (if anything, besides money). Appreciate her (keeping it real). No small talk needed for future dances. May exchange digits to get future dances from her.
4. Dancer offers way more than normal.
Added to my CF list. Stacked dances - and multiple rounds, plus tips. Specifically visit to see her in future.
One example: A dancer that gives sizzling dances comes by my table when she's ready to leave after her shift. In civilian clothes. She gives me a kiss and thanks me for my business. I really like that gesture - and as she is leaving, I stuff a 20 in her pocket as a token of appreciation for that goodbye kiss.
While providing your comments - assume dancer is 7+ (in your eyes). That is - she is hot.

Front Room Makeout Session. Not for free, with giving her money to show respect. Let things happen right where you are sitting, or right where you approach her. Treat her exactly as you would treat any other beautiful woman.
Then when it is time for your own pants to come down, you invite her to the back room. Then take her home with you and continue to see her regularly.
Don't take a girl into the back room to see how good she is. Take her into the backroom because she is already good in the front room, and because you want to be waking up with her and giving her another round, in the mornings.

A really shitty dance but the girl is still smoking hot and charming, I probably won't stop in the middle of the song but I won't go for another or tip. A shitty dance from a girl who basically just wanna danced me I might very well cut her off in middle of the first the dance or at least like the OP said totally loose interest and start playing on my phone or whatever. Similarly, just cause the dance was good doesn't make her a favorite. She's also gotta be remarkably hot and I gotta enjoy hanging out with her for me to consider making an effort to seek her out again.
My mood also factors in, and if I'm local/traveling. On the road, personality isn't much of a consideration compared to to body and mileage. As long as she's not a raving bitch, I really don't care. Locally, personality still doesn't affect my decision as much as body but its certainly more than on the road. As far as mood, some days I'm much more tolerant than others.

@wallanon - you probs know better than anyone - strip clubs are bizzarro world - and full spectrum of attitudes can be seen in dancers. New dancers are generally eager to please. Read your reviews of Montreal clubs - I went to a few of em a couple of years ago. It's different. A city where hookers are available - a strip club returns to its roots - offering better stage shows and sensuous lap dances but generally no more than that.

@san_jose_guy - I've been your San Jose clubs. Including your go-to club Brass Rail. They suck. In a bad way. Have you EVER visited a texas club? Even once? Most patrons (admit not all) - treat dancers with respect and dignity. Customer wants youth and beauty and Dancer wants warmth and generosity (i.e., $$). It's a fair trade. A respectable trade. That's the only way texans do it. If you visit a texas club - especially central texas - you would not be writing a million lines of front room makeout; would be enjoying the clubs instead!

Dancers are treated better than civilians - mostly because they are in better shape and know how to hustle.
Even your Brass Rail seemed to have good decorum for the 30 minutes I was there - but maybe you have seen it all.
Since you have such a passion for writing, but strip club experience limited to a particular region, I have a suggestion for you.
Pack your bags and start a journey across America. Visit every strip club in every city. Upscale, Dive, all of it. Report your experiences through a blog or facebook/youtube. That will partially fund your trip expenses. At the end you may be the only guy who has visited all 1000 strip clubs in America. Even more than Wallanon. 5 years down Rick's Cabaret may consult you on where and how they should open their new strip club.

Just think about it, interacting with the girl in an unstructured manner, means most anything can happen. And you can show respect by feeding her money.
But once you agree to a particular time and money formula, then she is performing a service on you. Booths and backrooms often do not increase the mileage, they just increase the house cut of the money, while making it easier for the girl to keep strict control of the choreography.
Always in P4P venues the first thing you want to do is get your girl off script and start breaking out of the interaction box the operator has tried to provide you with.
And of the strip club women I engage with in my future travels, more often than not I'll be waking up with them in the mornings, and then they will get inducted into the organization I am building, and they will serve as my first boots and the ground for that metro.
As fun as strip clubs can be, eventually one finds out that they also have severe limitations, and so you have to use them only for what they are good for. And that is, See - Want - Get. You get to have the girl you select, dressed and painted up exactly as you first spotted her. That is indeed the Ultimate Power Trip. But that will only work at the strip club with a given girl one time. After that you have to find some other ways to make things good with her. For me that will be lingerie photo modeling sessions.
