What's in your SC duffel bag?

PaulDrake
Off again on again PL
So who else has a duffel bag specifically for trips to the SC? I recently added a bunch of new stuff into mine and it would be interesting to see if anyone else has different gear ideas. Here is what I keep in my bag:

Around $500 cash
A prepaid debit card
2 fake IDs
Club VIP membership card
Some cover passes to different clubs
Mints
Axe body spray
Non-scented baby wipes
Earplugs
Travel size container of baby powder (for smoother LDKs)
A change of clothes for any situation (club, home, and work)

Not for just going to the club, but I do have one for OTC. Various toys, cuffs, rope, clamps, whips, rubbers, a sheet set, lube, a blanket. Some other stuff.

I must be a rookie. I carry condoms and a gym bag with a change of clothes.

I've never actually tried bringing a bag into the club. I'm not even sure if it's allowed at the ones I used to frequent.

However if they did allow it I'd probably keep it simple:

-power bank so I can charge my phone and play Fortnite
    -money
-snacks because what if you get hungry?!
    -water
    -body spray
    -gum
-self defense weapon (you never know when you might need it. I don't think firearms are allowed anyways)

and also my GPS transponder! In the event that something happens and I am unable to defend myself, my transponder can alert my friends and family as to where I am

You don't bring the bag inside...

So in that case I can bring a firearm!

I can bring my portable gun box so I can carry my .45

    You take things seriously PaulDrake!

As long as your "strip club duffle bag" doesn't have zip ties and duct tape in it then it's all brilliant!

Back when I was married, I always had a gym bag in the car. It was part of my overall camouflage -- needed wife to know "oh, he ALWAYS has gym bag in car; nothing weird about that". In it, gym clothes (in case I went to the gym after work) and street clothes (in case I went to the gym in the morning, showered, and then needed to change for work) and towel. That way, there was always cover for why I came home showered and/or in a different shirt from when I left. And since it was ALWAYS in the car trunk, nothing to raise an eyebrow over. No need for a bag for that anymore :)

I do have a set of stuff I always bring to the SC, but it's not in a bag. I pull lit all together and shove it in my jacket pockets before I hit the club. Things I always take with me to the SC: wallet, phone, cash, mints, portable phone battery, small flashlight, beanie (it can get cold in SF at night, any time of year), that kind of stuff.

Am I the only one here that would carry a firearm in this hypothetical SC bag?

Not an option where I am. I suppose I'd reconsider if I lived in a free state -- although I usually drink at the club, so again, most of the time not an option. Multiple members here have said they carry.

I know having a firearm sounds ridiculous, but in today's world you can never be too safe.

@Subraman - What's the flashlight for? Was it you who also brought pocket vibrators?

I am thinking about adding massage oil to my bag but I am worried about it making a mess.
  • Subraman
Ya, pocket vibrators for me lol...

I've carried a (very small) flashlight ever since the common roaming blackouts in CA at the turn of the century. Those don't happen anymore, but the flashlight is useful all the time anyway. Especially in a dark strip club, in case you drop something, as happens from time to time. But not a bad idea in general for earthquake country. For example, these little guys are 130 lumens, rechargeable with micro usb, crazy tiny http://goinggear.com/mecarmy-illuminex-x…

BTW, the pocket vibrators have been an unmitigated hit. I'd forgotten I even told you guys about them

Subraman's advice for guys with SO is good. Get in habit of doing stuff that covers for PLing. Like I routinely pay cash for lunch instead of using plastic. So SO knows I routinely have cash. And I have a stash of cash in my briefcase just in case. Like just in case I need money and my wallet is gone, or just in case I hit a strip club. I don't have a change of clothes, but I've been lucky. Got lipstick on a shirt once, but was on the road and could wash out before returning home.

Subraman’s flashlight got me thinking about how dark some clubs are. I have a little flashlight fob on my key chain. One time I forgot it and the dancer dropped the VIP money on our way out after our time and that area was very dark. We were the only ones back there and we spent an extra 10 minutes trying to find it.

Today's smartphones have a decent flashlight which should negate the need for a standalone flashlight for quick menial tasks

Not necessarily a sc bag, but a go bag in general: change of clothes, mints, toiletries, ‘hats’.

    San Jose Guys -

    - duct tape
    - chloroform
    - rope
    - scissors
    - powdered gravy mix
    - portable hot plate
    - goat treats
  • Subraman

True, Papi. Aside from the fact that it's faster, easier, and brighter than my phone, in earthquake country I think it's just a good idea to have a little flashlight, and not drain your phone dry if you need to look for something for a while. I'm like the boyscout of PLs

^Because the clubs in Paul Drake’s area require it to be scanned before entering. Which is pretty shady. Here’s him talking about doing it.

    @Vantablack

Not solely for SCs. I don't find strip clubs to be in that bad of neighborhoods. I see people on Tuscl write, "I wouldn't go to such'n'such club in Cleveland, not even at 3PM in daylight!!" And I'm thinking, I just ate around the corner from there 2-3 months ago. :O

    @Dominic77

Maybe it's just me, but I guess I just don't trust the people out on the streets. Life is too short, you never know what kind of crazies you may run into. It's not bad to be prepared in the event anything happens. Better safe than sorry
  • Dominic77

I'm the same way, too. It's just not part of my SC specific kit.

It's also the reason I keep my medical card on me when I club, in case I need it.

    Mints
    Bleach wipes
    lots of ones
    condoms
I leave my cell phone in the bag in the car
    Spare clothes
    cologne
