Where do they go? How do they pay rent and buy food?

Yesterday, I saw 2 strippers that I have not seen for over a month. One said something about school, the other really did not say much other than she had been there. I actually gave up on both thinking that they just disappeared like many of the best ones do.
I don't think that they are travelling dancers and most seem to be single moms. This happens with frequency. Could it be that they work more at the end of the month? (I have not done that much analysis).
Got something to say?

Also, it's none of my business. I'm happier because I don't involve myself in dancers' non-club lives.
There are numerous variable involved but from what I have seen and heard this is the slow season inside the club. Some (not all but some) might be making ends meet outside the dance area-or because they did well enough and were smart enough they saved up a bit. Why dance when the cost to do so isn't worth the effort.
This doesn't necessarily explain how they can afford to take a month(s) off but may be a component - i.e. if she lives in an area with low/affordable rent, it's fairly plausible a good stripper in a good club can cover her whole rent with one or two good shifts.
It could be as simple as needing frequent breaks from the grind. Or it could be a flighty stripper.
Yeah, I've ended up one of the guys supporting a "vacationing" stripper via OTC many times. But I'd say Papi characterized this correctly as "side hustles" -- she can't support herself with these, but they do let her extend her extended vacation.
I've personally never seen a stripper save enough money to take a month off. I'm impressed if they can do that.
Supposedly it's been a rough few months in the desert and I was invited out to spend time with her over her birthday weekend but I declined that offer as well......heartless basta*d that I am......
I also have known dancers that vacation in N.O. or L.V. They pickup gigs for occasional shifts in places like that.
I never thought that it would be fun to be jailed. Like they say "If you can't do the time, don't do the crime".
I didn't realize Nina was a pimp, lol!
I tend to be a subsistence stripper as well. I try to stay consistent and on a schedule, but I do fuck off a lot of the time. But my bills are low and my only obligation is my dog. That and I will get distracted with school as well. But I have occasional personal issues that keep me from being as ambitious as I should.
As high maintenance as regulars can be, they do serve as a good reminder to show up. There has been multiple times that I've come in for one feeling unmotivated and with low expectations, and then end up making $700-900 instead. (Not exclusively on the regular, but they seem to help "get the ball rolling.")
Most prisoners are leeches (roughly 99%) - and they’ve never lived a legitimate productive life on the outside. They should pay. However, I doubt there is much money to collect from most of the vermin in jails today!
All kinds of reasons! I am guilty of taking a lot of time off due to burnout to be honest, but I am trying to move somewhere that there would be less burnout for me. IE more acceptable clubs to work at nearby that I don't hate and/or lower contact clubs that still have good money. Lower drama/stupidity would be nice too.
That absolutely false. There are people in jail for not paying traffic tickets on time, because they didn't have the resources. There are people in jail for such petty shit that shouldn't warrant having your rights stripped of you and being confined to a cell...
...not to mention the amount of people who are in jail awaiting a trial or sentencing.
Stick to divorce law.
Well, now you know. And, tax payers are still paying for it as well. Just more money for the government on both ends.
And as far as the "don't do the crime if you don't want the time" statement, see my above post.
Also, I hardly think getting jailed for being caught with, say, half a joint, is fair in any way.
