In reference to doctorevil’s discussion about explicit reviews, this morning I re-read a review from a while back that I rejected, but others approved and it got published. This review named a dancer doing extras. When I read this review this morning, I noticed the review was edited to remove the dancer’s name. Has anyone here read a review and then on a later date, read the review again and noticed that some edits were made?
It is possible the review was rejected and then resubmitted, but I do recall this review getting approved the same day. The reviewer could’ve had written it in a word processor and then copied and pasted it, which would allow them an easy way to edit and resubmit it if rejected. However, the review was one long paragraph and not exactly comparable to a professional writer. I think a logical assumption is someone could’ve messaged founder about the review and a quick fix such as “search for ____ and replace with ____” could’ve been done.
A while back, prior to reviews being reviewed by other TUSCLers, a TUSCLer told me some of his reviews were being modified post submission (I think he said something about the grammar like sentence & paragraph structure)
I would hope he resubmitted it, I have been a little explicit in my reviews lately but I do not use the name when I get explicit and I try not to describe the body other than butt to breast or hip and thigh size etc etc.
It is a very rare occasion where a review will be edited. If I had to guess I'd say about half a dozen times per year. And that is usually only to take out a name. I cannot think of a time where we've edited for grammar.
Reviews do get deleted on a rare occasion as well, but again, probably about 6 times per year at most.
@founder, if a dancer reviews a club and in the unlikely event that she waxes eloquently about my penis, feel free to leave my name in the review. No need to edit.
