After getting ripped off ...,,,,

One episode of a ROB isn't enough for me to write off a club, especially if it had other redeeming values. A club with a bunch of them or limited other qualities will get written off or at the very least deprioritized in the rotation. A ROB herself will get cut the fuck off, even if I just get a ROB vibe I'll avoid a stripper no matter how hot.

I don't see anything wrong with trying again, presumably they're wiser this time.

Yeah I concur with the above post. Just one ROB wouldn't ruin a club for me. But I will definitely be on higher than usual alert fory second visit.

I had the second experience as the person you overheard, ripped off by a ROB. But still gonna give the club another try since the place was nice and the women were beautiful. This time I'll be looking out for the 'tip before the dance' or attempting to start a dance in the middle of a song. Two tell tale signs of ROBs so far for me.

If a guy gets ROB it hurts his ego. Many guys want to go back for another round to redeem themselves.

Big question - was it clear these guys understood they had been had by ROBs, or was your experience that led you to know thats what had happened? Not all guys are as educated in the hobby as the TUSCL crowd is.

They may be going back simply because igborance is bliss and they don't truly comprehend they've been had.

To add on to the actual conversation, getting had by a ROB is not the club's fault or even the dancer's, it's my fault. I fucked up by letting it happen. I'd go back, but I'd be much more diligent and on my guard.

For me it would depend on the club. If it was a great club - with two ROB’s - I’d continue to patronize the place. I’d be more aware of my actions - and I’d keep away from the ROB’s.

If it was a dead club - with very few dancers - and two were ROB’s - I’d stay away - as there wouldn’t be enough to draw me back in.

I don't see where's that stupid. If a guy's taken by a ROB, that's his own fault and there's no one to blame but him. I agree with the redeeming of his ego or trying to prove something. There are plenty of guys that are like that. Life knocks you down you get back up. Stripper gonna 'stripper. The club is what it is. Why hold it against either of them?

No, you learn from it and do better the next time.

Not saying that, what I'm saying is if you run into two ROBs the same place I might think about going somewhere else

I know guys like this. No matter how often they get bent over a table and get bungholes stretched they keep coming back for more. It’s the “Thank you, sir, may I have another” syndrome. Not exclusive to strip clubs, I’m talking life in general. Some guys were just born to bend over.

I’ve only been seriously ripped off once. I concur that it was my fault, I agree that it hurt my ego, and yet I still dont want to go back to that club. The club is uber popular with hundreds of great reviews on this site and I just can’t face going back there. I had negotiated a fair price for BBBJ in the VIP ( a room with a locking door) and I stupidly prepaid. She of course pocketed the cash and said she’d changed her mind and gave me a HJ. I guess all those years with my ATF spoiled me ( sometimes I’d pay her a week in advance; other times a week after.
