I get why you would want a service but I’d fly solo. First off, the group is in no way a bunch of fat old sex travelers, the are mainly upper end business men and professionals, after all who else has the cash to go with a upgraded group, the fat slopes go alone as you can see their the loners you don't want to associate with if that makes sense, plus the weirder they are the more alone they are. But this is really no different than any other guided vacation. Some people want/need it, others are fine experiencing it on their own. I've traveled both ways, either one can suck but I prefer to to do it on my own.

What's interesting is how much money some of these women make. Whether that income goes to someone else or not is unknown. While some say the women pay the same price to work at the clubs as men this is not always true. Some women are responsibile for room and board plus taxes which was about 21 euros a day. Actually I ASSUMED the same, however as stated people are offered the option to upgrade from clean and basic to luxory. The result was after upgrading to a 4-5 star top of the line hotel for an upgrade fee even guys with millions at their disposal opted to go back to the basic. I found this out from talking to some of the other guests.

Rich people don't always want to spend needlessly. The fact is you spend very little time in the room. Are you going to travel 10,000 miles and spend several thousands of dollars to get to Germany to spend most of your time in a room?

I look at it this way, 90% of the time at the hotel I was sleeping, they have free Wifi so the other hour I was in the shower, shiter and checking email etc. Ok for the fat old guys (we all joke about) who only bang once a day and have no interest in watching totally naked women all day I can understand (no I can't :)) prefering a book or a movie after sex. Hey, just joined and came across this thread. I've taken the fkktour about 9 times in the past 7 years and I'm going again in a few months. So, no guessing on my part as I've been to a bunch of clubs over the years. The first thing is cost. It isn't the cheapest; you should figure on around $5 grand to do 8 to 10 days, half of it in flights and tour cost, the other half in entry fees and girls. If you're older like me, the batting average is like 2 sessions a day. If you're young, the kid in a candy store effect will likely boost your girls per day to maybe 4-5.

I like it when there is no logistical planning to do. Been to a bunch of mongering destinations, both in Asia, Central America and Europe, some on my own, others with a guide. Group tours aren't for everyone, so I'm not going to waste everyone's time trying to convince you one way or the other because it's either good for you or not. For me, the biggest thing is the service level from the girls. I have had some of the best sessions of my life in a German fkk.

I've made a bunch of friends on tour who I communicate with on a regular basis after the trip. We plan and make sure we attend the same tours each year. There's even options to form your own tour with fkktour, pick your clubs, destination or country as well as agend what I want to see with the benefit of a guide to do all the driving, planning and support.

Once had a guy who got sick during the trip so the guide was his support to get to an ER, tranlate (No most people did not speak German at the hospital, it's not a common tourist stop). Took him to get meds and then to the hotel. Now that's serivice. There was another occasion the guide had Anti-biotics for a guy who came down with something, thank god for that. The guide has access to text message directly with several ER doctors and nurses to ask questions and get info. I think some are customers.

Watching the women at the clubs is one of the best things about the FKK Club scene the other is watching the odd balls and newbies who make fools of themselves of which there are plenty. They're not all unattractive either. One thing I noticed in this hobby is the more attractive women usually offer less in terms of service because they don't have to. They get business on looks alone. Thus as the Tucson Guy stated older and less than a 10 women often offer better service because they have to to survive.

Fact is Taxi's make a commission from most of the clubs so they take you or try and convince you to go where they get the biggest kick back. Idk. I did a quick and dirty Priceline search for hotels (basic level but decently rated) in the area around Sharks FKK and I wouldn't have any problem scoring a basic decently rated hotel for $500 in late April, which is when their next 8 day special for $1699 is being offered.

So conservatively FKKTOUR is grossing $1,200 per head (likely more if they have a good deal with a local hotel) for driving people around in a van, along of course with the cultural interfacing and pro tips.

But ok, to be fair, they could also argue that one would otherwise need a rental car. A search for FRA brings that cost for the trip at about $200.

Again, idk, but the $1,000 that I would keep in my pocket by doing it myself would cover an awful lot of trial and error, nevermind an upgrade to a better hotel. Now I'm not advocating one way or the other. If some guys find it worthwhile to shell out the extra cash for the convenience and other support services then I say go with God, but I'm not sure I would be so inclined. Not only because of the extra money, but also because I would want the freedom to roam at will instead of being stuck on someone else's time table as well as the ability to control my accommodations.

So, I did the math a long time ago and here is what I believe the true cost is in 2018 of a solo trip per day, given that I am not going to Sharks 8 days in a row. The girls would really think you're nuts for doing that anyway. Figure that most of the good clubs and cheaper prices are away from Frankfurt's tourist trap clubs and more towards Cologne, which is 2.5 hours North.

@Tuscon: Your per day numbers are high. My comparison came from actual quotes from Priceline for the dates provided on the FKKTOURS site. They are grossing substantially more than 58 Euros per day per person, even if they were paying for that quoted rental car anyway (which they are not). They are offering the deal because it is a cheap time of year to travel to Germany. When the hotels go up during busier seasons, so too do their rates.

I don't assume anything when booking and check all rates carefully, everyone considering going to a country you'e never been to, I recommend you do the same. Find out the actual cost not just the cheap leaders

When booking via online websites make sure you click thru to where you to enter your credit car (like hotel rooms) much of the time they add taxes at the last minute which means prices are actually higher. Priceline is famous for that. You see a cheap room but when actually booking they tack on taxes and fees.

Some car rental companies in Germany offer cheap rates but when you arrive you find out you have to buy their expensive (per day) insurance and it's mandatory. Google "Overseas car insurance a minefield for travelers"

April by the way IS NOT a cheap time to travel. Don't forget when prices are quoted in Euros you're going to be paying about 20% more because your dollars are worth less.

I think it's best people take everything written on the internet with a grain of salt as they do. Do your own research, get the exact price, never assume as so many people do.

I like to get my advice from people who have actually been to a place or at least speak the language.

Also, liability insurance comes standard with German car rentals and the CDW is provided by most credit card companies (including mine). King, go to the FKKTOUR site and run your searches to coincide with the weeks that they are offering deals. You should be able to recreate easily enough using FRA as the rental car pickup location and target your hotel to an area central to a handful of FKKs (including Shark). I don't have the desire to spend another 15 minutes recreating it again, but it was not hard. Of course, I also travel a great deal, so if you don't plan travel often it may take you more time.

So you can not provide the hotel name or rental car company name? Were you renting a smart car or micro/mini size? I know the tour dates just wanted to know which ones you used to calculate your numbers. Note the clubs don't appear to be close to each other or grouped within the Frankfurt area, at least not most of them. I'm showing different costs

Observations Rental cars While some may argue rental car insurance I've read several nightmares about German rental companies do force you to use their insurance even if you have a credit car see "scam operated by Dollar/Thrifty/Terstappen"

Fuel I read is 1.50 a litre 3.78 litre per gallon so fuel is closer to $6 a gallon plus I'm paying that in euros so will incure foriegn fees and the conversion rate.

Distance It's at least 300km from Sharks to popular clubs north so 600km round trip plus each about 50km -100km a day on top of the round trip so a minimum of 900km driving

Vehicle size I doubt a tour van seat will be the size of a micro, mini or compact car so a normal sized vehicle should be used to compare however I used a compact anyway.

Maps or GPS The micro/Mini cars don't offer GPS that feature usually in upper end cars so you may have to bring a GPS and buy Germany maps so that cost needs to be included. I guess you can use your phone but what about International roaming rates?

Hotels I noticed the low priced places were often Hostels or had very low review ratings Unless you plan on going to only one club 8 days calls for several hotels

Conclusion Even without insurance, bigger car came to the conclusion that the tour company is not getting rich by any standard.

Seems like the best way to do it would be to use the tour group for one or two days, then whatever else on your own.

I could do the April excursion for the cost I stated - I could have pulled the trigger when I had the numbers up last night. And $150 for gas? Where are you planning on driving to, the Russian border? Even at $6 per gallon, that's just silly, especially in a gas sipping compact. But even if I bought that gas number, the difference would still be dramatic.

Anyway, the FKKTOUR operators will continue to play these silly games all day since this is all too obviously a shill thread. I hope you guys at least have the decency to purchase a banner ad from Founder, seriously now. Btw, the fkktours.com site quotes their prices at $333 dollars a day. Sure they have some dollar off specials from time to time but you have to take their dates exactly. I prefer to make my own choices of where to go and when, but I respect the right of those who are sheeple to get off/on the bus at designated intervals and do what they are told as a group. And to pay $333 a day for a bus ride and a $70/ night hotel just doesn’t work for me. Glad it’s there for those that want it, just don’t try to convince me it’s a smoking deal. I have been to FKKs solo several times so I have some first hand experience.

Whatever the case, their defensive behavior and hostility outed them as douchebag shills. I've never been to an FKK, but I'm pretty certain I don't need to flush my hard-earned money down the drain just to have someone lead me by the hand to these clubs. I'll go it solo.
