Sex is getting cheaper!

TUSCL’s #1 Soothsayer!
Mongerers from the 90’s tell me $300/session(hour) was the going rate, consider inflation it’s a better deal today. Now there is more options/competition than them, it will stay that way.

Consider the other issue that sex is destigmatized for women who want to be promiscuous, the supply has risen to the point if you can come off as a normal guy, secure in yourself, there’s no need to pay. This is why I only need to spend little at the club for entertainment before completing the task elsewhere, hence Juice’s “it’s not all about the nut” comment.

Where do you find most value for sex? SO, AAMPs, strip club, online, backpage, or other outlets? Strip clubs can be a good fluff for $30 and even a good LDK finish! Never done BP, an AAMP once for $100, Tiajuana once for $200, SO for dinner and a movie during courtships(free after that other than my time), online was too much time and dinners spent on women that lead nowhere.

It begs my question again, where do you find the greatest value for what your looking for from sex? Keep in mind everybody has different needs. Some just go to the club to feed dancers money under the table so they can kiss.

Since you included SO I assume you mean all forms of sexual engagement. For me its a fuck buddy hands down. Its just about sexual gratification pure and simple with no expectations of attachment.

I figure that if she's coming into an environment that's easy for her to operate in, she'll probably charge a little less knowing that she doesn't have to deal with a bunch of nonsense. Negotiation goes both ways and if she is going to hook up with a guy who is going to treat her nice and make her feel good, then she'd probably rather do a bunch of $150 sessions and make money in volume than to do a $500 session with some asshole who makes her feel terrible. Just like any other service industry, there's a human being on the other side of what you're paying for. Your demeanor has an effect on how well you'll be served regardless of what you're paying.

I am speculating this based on the side-hustle work that I do in the tech industry. Sometimes I don't always charge what my services are worth for those clients are much easier to work with. I can go in and do my job and go home. Other clients who tend to give me a headache get charged the full price. My lower pricing is to attract the type of clientele that I want while my higher prices are really to deter the type that I don't.

But all in all, a day's work is a day's work. If she feels that she's worth $100, who am I to tell her otherwise? I'll tip her if I was especially pleased so that she'll come again when I call. But as she builds her business and learns the market, she'll start charging a fair price.

Mr Cab Driver, aka taxi_driver, you’re correct on the “15-20 years younger” value. And I look at it as where else can I go for convenience and ease for having access to that product? There other avenues, yet for my time the Strip Club can do that quickly and numerously.

I’m often amazed at how good the service is considering what I pay, but the providers also have easy access with no hassle for their time with me. Some tell me they will be happy to pay attention to me as soon as I’m ready, so I tell them after my first drink. Once the second drink comes they usually come around again. This point isn’t about me, it’s about how you find value in your time with your sex life. Much in the same way how we outsource our preparation for meals, some do fine restaurants while others do chicken wings, even at home do it yourself chefs. And we all go through phases and mix up our outlets. I’ve stopped watching porn, because I have no personal interaction. The females at least provide something when in person, it’s how much fake shit you’re willing to deal with for trade off their service. Even jerking one or two times has saved me a couple hours and $100 from a club visit, and I found good value in that because I have memories of previous dancers I’ve been with. So I’m going to have to disagree with JonTitor where he finds no value.

In my mid 20's, having a great career and being perceived as a catch (more financially than physically, I suspect), I had numerous free civi opportunities as women regularly traded sex in their pursuit of love. In many cases, for me, it was just sex. So many happy hour hookups after 8 pm.

I will always believe women offer sex in their pursuit of a relationship while men imply love in their pursuit of sex (see Meatloaf -- Paradise by the Dashboard Light)..

Also agree with Upright -- had one fuckbuddy once in my 20's that I could count on for mutually satisfying no strings action.

Fuck it sucks being old.

I am not sure where you got the $300 / session (hour) rate in the 90's. From what I recall between 1993 and 1997 the average price for a lap dance was around $10 to $15 a song in one of the small local hangouts and $20 a song in the more "upscale" clubs. A twenty to fifty dollar tip, depending on how far you wanted to go, got you all the extras you wanted in most clubs. After 1997 the prices start going up.

Five hundred was the typical price a dancer would quote that most guys would consider too high, if you asked to see her outside the club and she really didn't want to. The typical rate when a dancer actually was interested in some OTC activity was around $150.

As for escorts, before Craigslist, Cackpage and similar sites existed, the prices advertised in the typical rags in the 90s was around $100 to $150 per session.

My first escort visit, with FS sex, in 1987 in Atlanta was $150. FS prices stayed below $200 through most of the 90s. A little research on TBD or TER could probably narrow it down to a year, since there was much angst on the Atlanta discussion board when prices hit $200.

In the early 2000s prices were still around $250.

I'd say I was paying less for sex now, but I've been seeing SBs and strippers that I have to get a hotel room for our dates, so when you factor in the hotel cost it's about the same.
