This really needed to be said. As far as I'm concerned, the woman who owns this club is a hero. And I also love the sandwich board about gentrification that the coffee shop owner put up. "Toxic masculinity" is just another term for masculinity. And "gentrification" is just another term for making a shitty neighborhood better and safer. So many shrill skanks have been running around talking about toxic masculinity, and now they even want to "protect" sex workers from it. If there were no such thing as "toxic masculinity" then strippers would all be out of a job.
People need to lighten up about words. Words are not the same as actions. Jokes are often funny because they violate morals or expectations without actually hurting anyone. Rape, for example, is a terrible crime, but a joke about rape is not. However, some humorless people don't see the difference.
