I don't normally do this, but when I club in places like NYC I find it to be a necessity. Seriously, going from zero to buzzed in a New York club lightens my wallet by $2-300 easily. NYC clubs are notorious pigs when it comes to alcohol sales, doing everything from charging $20 per shot in Manhattan to short shots and heavy water content in the boroughs. I don't normally mind the normal SC alcohol premiums, but that is just absurd, especially if one wants to string a few nights together and enjoy the ladies.
In fact, I am sitting in a Queens bar right now getting a head start on the night.
Anyone else do this?

There's a dry strip club in MA. I used to go to the Chinese restaurant next door and load up on Mai Tais. Some of the dancers would do the same between stage sets -- it was effectively an extension of the club.

I don't do it when I'm by myself -- I just like to have all my wits about me when I walk into the club. However, given the fact that my ITC time is often centered around drinking, no surprise that with my CFs and ATFs, we often end up in a pattern where I meet her at a bar a half hour before her shift, and we drink a bit before we head in. This does save a lot on alcohol, but I more do it because I enjoy the outside the club social time, gets me hornier to see her ITC

They say that NYC also has completely underground clubs, likely full on brothels?
