  Not to be judgmental, but this is a "Hobby", not meant to replace your normal life. When you get to the point of asking those kinda questions you may be getting in too deep. Strippers and SCs are a great distraction or supplement to real life, but never a replacement. Remember, they don't love you. Won't give 2 shits if you're in the hospital or if you go broke. Don't mean to rain on your Parade Bro, so Civie every time. What looks amazing in the club is usually a wreck outside.

  I expect women to be in the highest of heels and makeup, and not too much else. So yes, I have been completely corrupted, or spoiled, by strip clubs. I noticed once cruising a night club line, and not liking what I was seeing, I said to a bouncer that the women looked like they were headed to a Rotary Club meeting.   When I was in my mid-20s to mid-30s, I traveled a lot for work, made good money, and had access to generous company expense account. I was still decent looking (had a strong resemblance to a soap opera star of the time that even young women seemed to know and like), so I had some game with civvies. So, when I was out of town my MO for an evening was to hit a good pickup bar/restaurant and see if I could score that way. My standards were usually a little lower than for P4P girls and given my age would bag a cougar on a fairly regular basis - a skill developed when I was 19 and 20 in college and the 30+ singles would flock to my favorite dance club on a Friday or Saturday night. If I was paying a $20 cover and $8 a drink (a fortune compared to $5 cover and nickel beer on the off peak nights), I was gonna fuck SOMEONE that night. Anyway, that established a pattern where I was perfectly happy with 5-7 in the looks department as long as I found a 9-10 in the sex department. During my peak escort mongering years, I spent a king's ransom a couple times for a 10 or a 10+ and ALWAYS ended up disappointed with the sex. Girls with 10+ looks and GPS never have to learn to turn a guy on with their sexuality, so they are quite often bad in bed. So, today, when I no longer have youth or looks for civvie game (well, I do get attention from civvies but it's because they are hoping I might be willing to upgrade to Wife 2.0, which ain't happening since I have Wife 1.0 configured just the way I want it), I apply same principle in P4P world. I focus on 5-7s for reliable, mature, regular, affordable NSA sex (SA has been working well for me, but I have had to separate from 2 that developed the SB-to-MRS virus) and I'll take a flyer every now and then on hot stripper OTC, of which I'm now 2.4 out of 5 (I rate one a .4 success cause we started good but crashed and burned, and there was never a visit without complications; and one of the other 2 may not really count cause she's pretty much a full time escort now). The good sabermatric is that my "ITC spending before first OTC" has gone down dramatically. And, finally, if I'm craving a 10 there's this super hot FBSM girl in town. FS isn't available, and CBJs are overpriced (although I did indulge once and it was one of few times I came from a CBJ), but damn just getting to see, play with, and kiss her gorgeous body and get a massage and a HJ from her is worth the price.

  There's a girl at work that I'm pretty sure is crushing on me. She's ok looking and very pleasant to be around. However, my clubbing activities helped curb my loneliness so I'm not as desperate for companionship. I think I'm really fucked up in that I'd rather spend money on someone super attractive versus a decent looking girl who I can have for free. Asking her out and the date itself would probably be fantastic for her as well. Talking to these ridiculously attractive-looking girls with a boner has taught me how to talk confidently and sexually with women. I could not only keep the conversation flowing throughout the night but could give her a fantastic time afterwards.

  I will admit that I do have very high standards to begin with. Strip clubs are a place where I can get away with having ridiculously high standards. When I am at a bar or some other place, I don't set the bar as high. There are a lot of decent looking strippers I ignore when I am at the club. However, if I met them some other place, I would be perfectly satisfied if it did lead to a hook up.

  Thinking about it I guess my situation is probably a bit different than some and not a fair question. Being married also makes me also more selective about civie girls where they have to pass my evaluation they are not looking for more than a hook up. By definition strippers and p4p are a simple arrangement where there are no further expectations given there is an exchange. So the risk is low for too much attachment beyond my wallet. But all things being equal I am still raising the bar...

  I would rather bang a 5-7 civi free as opposed to a 8-10 stripper for money. The exception would be my current fave who I would be willing to pay above market rate for one time with her but she is not an otc type girl. But I don't want a relationship with any woman so any civi I'm getting with would need to understand it's a FWB relationship. If they are not down with that I'll move on.

  It's just the opposite for me. I have always had high standards for sex but as I and my cohorts age, there are fewer and fewer women that I find highly attractive. There aren't to many 8s, 9s or 10s at 50+yo. I'm changing my habits as I get older. So now I'm banging hot strippers once or twice a month. Physical attraction is dropping down the list for civvies. My civvie relationships are becoming more based on intimacy, companionship, and social compatibility. If we're going to spend 20 hours together this week and 2 hours of that are spent fucking, what's the quality of those other 18 hours? So with strippers, it's primarily physical attraction with some emphasis on how well we get a long. With civvies, the opposite is happening.

  I would definitely rather bang a hot stripper for money than bang a average civie for free. It’s just money. In the end everything costs money. I live in a city (Los Angeles) where there’s a endless supply of hot women. The civies here look better than the strippers, so no going to the strip clubs here hasn’t raised my expectations for civies. What the strip club has done for me is made me more comfortable talking to girls. I’m comfortable talking to hot girls in the civie world now.

  Strip clubs have caused me to insist on a certain level of attractiveness. I want, for example, physical fitness to an adequately low level of body-fat in any of the women I'd be banging. I guess that means that strip clubs have "corrupted" me. I'll probably dump a civilian woman whom I am gaming, if after I get her naked I find out that naked she doesn't look "hot enough to be a stripper". It's her fault, after all. Without strip clubs I probably wouldn't have said to myself, "It's her fault, after all."
