Forced Break

A couple business partners are taking a different path and starting a new small business venture. Seems pretty can't-miss, but for the initial investment period, I've gotta save my dough. As such, gotta take some time off from visiting my favorite spots.

Anything you guys like to do to to keep yourselves out of trouble when you're not clubbing? I work days and nights, so the club used to be both my reward for work well done and my de-stresser after putting in hours.

I'm finding I'm just going to a regular bar with a smokin' hot waitress and making good conversation instead. No lappers, still get a visual and a buzz and spend about 30× less than I would at a club. She likes my wit and occasionally lops a drink or two off my tab.

And yes, the easy answer is Internet porn, but believe me, that will always be a part of my diet.

Lower end reviewed (way safer) escort. 1 time a month depending on your area 80 bucks and up. AMP is another option if not done regularly just to scratch an itch. If your goal when you go SCing is extras and that's where you spent the bulk of your money it could help destress. Girls won't be as hot but it's something.

I don’t have any alternatives that come close to the clubs. The use of internet porn can be helpful - but it can increase my desire to club.

You seem to have found a decent alternative in a bar with a hot bartender. The conversation might be better too. No lappers with extras can make the transition painful.

Join a sports league. Playing basketball, raquetball etc etc can kill some time. I currently play basketball and have a swim class once a week and find them very rewarding and they are cheap!

I know - not the same as fucking hot strippers but you need ideas!

I'm kinda in the same boat since I've never been a nightclub or bar type guy.

Habits are hard to break - for me when I've taken SC-breaks the hardest part has been to stop vs staying away once I stop - i.e. for me personally once I stop, the longer I am away the less strong the desire is.

You need to put it out of your mind - if you are constantly thinking about the clubs then the harder it will be to stay away ("as a man thinketh so is he").

Def try to find something to occupy your mind/time (gym, bike riding, some type of hobby, etc).
