"For the first time in its 64-year history, Playboy magazine will feature a transgender Playmate, a decision that Cooper Hefner, a top executive at the magazine, said on Thursday was in keeping with its founding mission of embracing changing attitudes about sex.
The French model Ines Rau, 26, will appear as the November centerfold in the first issue since the death of Hugh Hefner, Mr. Hefner’s father and the magazine’s founder."

I guess they didn't really learn a fucking thing when they went with the no-nude version, now they insist on learning those same lessons once again with this stunt.

I think a trans woman counts. Bravo. I think there's no such thing as bad publicity for a relaunch issue.
Trans women aren't my thing and I've never gotten the impression that lapdanceking82 was especially into trans women. Nor can I remember if lapdanceking82's partner in HJ was pre-op or post-op. It seemed like he just decided to indulge. As long as he enjoyed it and both people involved were adults I don't see the issue.
Regarding Playboy, it is hard for them to remain relevant. Even when I was a kid Playboy was a big deal. But now anybody can go online and see any weirdo kink you can imagine. I'm all for free speech but I think that is actually bad for kids. I'd be even more of a weirdo than I am if I watched hours and hours of rimjob porno as a 12-year old!
Back to the bigger topic. I think Playboy is stuck. They occasionally need to be transgressive to stay relevant, but how can you be transgressive in a culture where girls taking two dicks in one hole is a click away?
