My escort friend has had some medical issues (non sex related) and hasn't been working for a while, but now she's recovered and naturally needs money. She asked me to write and post her C/L adds for her as her old ones have been deleted for inactivity; I just did my first one yesterday. She liked it but I used a pic that had her face in it which she didn't like so I changed it. Oops. She said she had a good response from it however and wants me to do a few more adds.
Does this make me a pimp, even though I didn't charge her for it? Maybe I could start a side business doing web pages for escorts! LOL I'd work just for "consideration" ...

As long as it doesn't interfere with your music career why not?
Your not pimping. Your just being a paid photography guy
If you place the ads, take her money, drive her to the location, provide protection, provide love, provide her needs and wants because you took all her money then your pimping
If you accomplish this then be careful because they are harder on pimps than the hoe...pimp charges could be a life sentence damn near
It makes you a weak ass pimp :-) lol
Get your money next time you see her and if she refuses say this
Pimps take ALL the money, honey. You're just her business partner right now. :)
Nah shes rogue
Well, I do get free BJ's...that's a start at least!
No. It makes you a copywriter.
Technically it makes you a pornographer, not a pimp.
From the ancient Greek : Porne Prostitue Graphos : To write
So technically our word Pornography originally meant "Writings of or about whores" (including art, in the broad sense of writing--- this of course being an age before photography. Its add copy, then, as Ishmael said. Of course, legally you may still be hypothetically guilty of aiding and abetting the act of prostitution if the trail (however unlikely) came back to you, which would then make you a Pimp not a pornographer LOL
Sorry Rockstar, but Internet pimps are always accidental pimps, drafted into it by a GF.
SJG
RS, while this does not make you a pimp, it is probably illegal and you could conceivably get caught up in a sting if she were arrested. At the very least don't use a personal email address or leave any other type of electronic trail that could tie you to her ads.
JS good advice, but when they arrest low level prostitutes I doubt they investigate who did their BP add.
I used to build websites for independent escorts. Some paid me in cash just like any of my other website clients. Some Bartered services. Either way, it provided some very interesting insights into the escorting scene and invites to some truly amazing parties.
