Stripper day jobs

Friday, July 14, 2017 6:57 PM
Should ask this on SW, but too much ego on that platform to admit truths. Do strippers have daytime jobs? Recently knew someone who's content writer by day, married (live in) with a man painted in tattoos top to bottom, "professional gamer"; both trying to rent space outta their abode. Also know a stripper that's "program manager" at a store few days a week.

I've met several dancers that claimed they only moonlighted as dancers and also had a regular job. I didn't think this was normal but at one club, it didn't seem that unusual. One dancer was a welder. Most unusual dancer occupation I heard of. One sold real estate and made one last appearance and spotted me telling me all about her new job. I also met dental assistance or hygienist. One girl was studying yo be a lawyer, hadn't started work yet. One dancer was a nurse doing nurse work. One dancer quit first but worked as a bartender becoming a veterinarian after she got her degree. I don't remember all the different jobs.

Yes, I've known several with day jobs. Secretaries, bar tenders, even a teacher who spent summers in a different city dancing.

Highly unlikely. But anything is possible. I've known a few that claimed they were real estate agents when not working at the club. But most have found they make more $ (tax free) at a club. At least until age inevitably catches up with them as there is always new, young talent at the club...

Most dancers I've met didn't have any other job.

School teacher in a different city sounds interesting. Nurse/Hygeneist/ med assistant sounds likely. I don't think secretarys would do it. They already got a PL they could suck OTC, or under the table.

I have known a few who had legitimate day jobs. One of my favorite dancers for a time was a special ed teacher. I knew another who had her own photography studio. I knew a bartender and a barista. There were others I can't remember, although I firmly believe that the strippers with a day job are in the minority.

I knew of a few over the years. I know of one who currently bartends during the day. One of my past favorites was a fitness trainer at a health club. Several were waitresses at restaurants. I even saw a few at the checkout line in department stores.

I've met a medical technician, a real estate agent and a day care worker (who stripped 60 miles from her day job to minimize the chances of running into one of her day care's clients.

I knew 1 that worked at Big Lots 1 day a week unloading trucks. She said that she only did it to get the employee discount on purchases. 1 recently talked to one that said that she was a cook at a Waffle House.

Had a girl that said she had a Sociology degree and was working in "Human Resources" for a company more than an hour away. She claimed to be working on her "Masters" thesis in Sociology. I asked her if the club was research and she said she had used some of her experience in her work but the real reason she kept working there was she had taken dance lessons since she was little and was an exhibitionist She liked to take her clothes off in front of people, it made her horny and she liked the private dances with the possibility of sex with strangers. She figured why have random hook ups that could come back at her later when she could select who she wanted to have sex with and ask them to pay = win win

I've met many that had other jobs (not going to use the term "day jobs" because many of the dancers I've ran into were working day shift and therefore the other jobs may have actually been night jobs. Of course there are the college girls, but some of the other jobs I've been told that they had were nurses, department store and gas station cashiers, waitresses, hair stylists, a couple of security guards, line cook, paralegal, social worker, substitute teacher, and one was actually a part time cop. But, when you need to make a quick buck........

And to do things like apply for car loans, rent apartments, get insurance, etc you need documented W-2 income. I've talked to many dancers over the years who had a 9-5 gig on weekdays and only danced on Fri and Sat night. @tired I met someone very similar to the girl you describe. She would go to nightclubs on the weekend, dressed for exhibition, end up fucking some random guy that she may or may not be able to get rid of later. Said she finally hooked up with a guy who said she was hotter and a better dancer than any stripper he ever met, so she checked it out and starting working weekends in SCs. Sure, it's probably the exception, but they're not all airheads.

The big ones I hear are student, dental hygienist, and catering / party staff. They're generally not entirely plausible, but also not entirely implausible, so I go with the fantasy. I try to tell them I'm an astronaut, international drug-cartel double-agent (or triple-agent), or talent scout for "American Idol." Mine are generally not entirely plausible either.

I knew a stripper who worked in retail during the week and stripped on weekends. And another left stripping to work in corrections at a jail. But returned to stripping after about a year or so.

I know one older stripper that also cuts my hair at a chain haircut place. I once had a wild VIP with an active duty army mechanic that worked one night a week and doubled her army pay. I have also asked some about the whole showing legit W-2 income thing. One told me she had a regular PL customer that she had a deal with that had some cash business (might have been a car wash). He had her on his books. She got her "take home pay" in cash that never exchanged hands. He paid the taxes and shit in exchange for regular OTC. He also got to deduct her "salary" against his income. I wonder if she had to fuck his CPA, too. I also wonder why she would offer this info up to basically a stranger. Well, she knew I wasn't a cop :-)

^^^ "I know one older stripper that also cuts my hair at a chain haircut place." Was is the pre-mob Gold Club or Taj Mahal (in Atlanta) that had a barber chair and you could get a haircut from a topless stylist?

I think a lot of the young ones ate students, although many are not on track to graduate A lot of the 25+ girls have other hustles. Personal trainer, nurse, emt to name a few. One whose non profit was her passion but clearly made no money doing that. A few in the beauty industry (hair, makeup, tanning).

@gold No, I knew what you meant. That should have said "Was it" and I was wondering if you remembered (or anyone else) what Atlanta club it was that had a barber in the club.

I remember I met a Vegas model and likely escort as well one night working as a dancer. I met up with her after she suggested it and I remember her saying she was flying back to Vegas next day. I never saw her again. One dancer asked if I would like to hire her to help clean my house. She said she ran a topless cleaning service. The rate was kind of high and she lived near Asheville. I think she wanted something like 100 an hour. I didn't ask if anything extra came with the service. She seemed serious about the cleaning service but she also seemed to like me. If she didn't live so far away, I might have thought about it more.

Talking about Vegas reminded me of a girl I met on a flight to Vegas. Her legit job was to be eye candy at trade shows but she had a club in Vegas (and some other convention cities) that would let her dance while in town. Offered to hook up at my hotel. Wanted way too much money, but she was a solid 9+
