Sometimes I look at an invention and say "who was so amazing that they could figure this out?"
Examples: flying, television, satellites, many medical advances, etc etc etc
When I see all that, I ask, "why is everyone still fat?" Why can't some asshole figure out how to make broccoli to taste like pizza and califlour to taste like chackin fangers and flavored water to taste like Coke? Boom, I just cured obesity if someone can figure those out!
I read the other day for every pound of belly fat you lose, that's 4 pounds of pressure off of each knee.

I used to weigh a little under 180 a year ago but I've tried really hard to build up my core. It drives me nuts because I am constantly hungry which is brought on by the more intense exercise I've been doing plus my crazy erratic schedule.
If some asshole could make broccoli to taste like pizza and cauliflower to taste like chackin fangers then I would have a body like Conor Mcgregor in 6 months flat! lol

It's harder to keep weight off as one ages - I would assume the best to do is to not eat less but eat as healthy and as smartly as possible - I was watching a PBS presentation by a doc and he was saying something along the lines that not eating the right nutrients will actually cause us to gain weight b/c it throws our metabolism out of whack - I think he said eating good fats (Omega-3) actually helps us lose weight b/c it gives our bodies what it needs and thus our metabolism does not overreact - so it's not about under-eating but eating the right stuff

Eating pizza flavored broccoli as often and in the quantities you would want to eat pizza would not be good either. Soon you would have green hair and fingernails.
Over exercise often gives ppl the feeling they can over eat. As in "I worked hard, so I deserve this".
It's all about the calories and finding foods that balance nutrition, and have enough bulk that you feel full. Consciously try eating m u c h more slowly and much more often but also much smaller quantities. A handful (and I really mean a 1/4 cup which is not a lot) eaten over 15 minutes one at a time can feel like a full meal. Yes you'll be hungry again in two or three hours but then do it again with the piece of fruit.
Eating more calories than you need WILL cause weight gain!. Even working out like a banshee for an hour sweating buckets etc. only burns very few hundred calories. With luck you could burn one piece of pizza.
