I hardly know anything about football, but like @Papi said, the guy seemed to have absolutely everything going for him. Maybe the product of really bad parenting. Think I read that he lost his father at an early age.

Dude was young; good-looking; and rich - yet too dumb or too mentally damaged (perhaps both) to leave the thug-life and thug acquaintances behind.
Thuggery seems to be too sensationalized in today's hip-hop world influencing too-many know-nothing young punks into being wannabe gangstas.
