They never tell you what you need to know.
Can't compete with SCat's "AMers" but still newsworthy.

Next time I'm out there I think I'll pass on driving the fast cars and shooting the machine guns, and stick to the strip clubs and buffets!

Unfortunately texting while slamming the Lambo up through the gears is not a good plan. RIP, guys.

I have a friend who worked there as a driver. Zero control in an exotic car? He said they got damaged all the time.

I'm going to Vegas (again) next month and looked up their website. At first I was interested because it seemed like a good deal, but then I read the fine print - no thanks.

They advertise around $40-$60 a lap but you have to purchase a 5 lap minimum in the same car. So after the fees and all that crap you can't get out of there for less than $300 for 5 laps in a Corvette or Nissan GTR.

I noticed they don't have any Vipers. If you didn't know Vipers are very hard to drive because of all the torque at the back wheels - most of the cars listed are all wheel drive which would be much easier for an amateur to handle around a track.

This is why inexperienced people have no business driving high horsepower cars on a track. It's NOT like driving in a straight line on the highway as American muscle car fans seem to think.

Start with autocross, which is running a tight course at low speeds in a large parking lot. The only thing you're likely to hit is rubber cones. Once you get the hang of that, get a 150-200 HP car, add a roll bar and racing seats, and try your luck at a local track.

Once you get the hang of that, you might THEN try the 500+ HP exotics with one of these companies at an actual race track. I'm surprised more people aren't killed at these things myself.

In South Beach about a year ago a Lamborghini rear-ended a stopped SUV at over 100 mph - the passenger was killed - the video kinda shows the damage to the car - must have been a hell of an impact:

My son and I are going in the opposite direction, stopped at the red light. We laughed our asses off but didn't stop. I was amazed when it turned out this video went viral!

^ I imagine that happens a lot w/ a lot of high HP cars

Yes Papi; "real men" who are rich teens turn off the traction control, and on a sunny dry road they spin. I only spun my Lotus twice, both turning left from a dead stop on a wet road. I didn't hit anything either time but taught me to be very humble on wet roads!
