PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Philadelphia police say a man was shot in the face by a robbery suspect outside a strip club, but the suspect was then also shot at by the victim’s friend.
Police are still searching for the suspect who shot the victim as he and his friend left Jungle Gentleman’s Club about 4 a.m. Tuesday.
Police haven’t released the victim’s name, but say he was taken to Temple University Hospital and is expected to survive.
The victim of the robbery and shooting was a 28-year-old man. He was the passenger of the car driven by the 33-year-old man who shot at the robber and then drove the wounded man to the hospital.
Police don’t know whether the robbery suspect was wounded when the victim’s friend returned fire.
