JUPITER, Fla. - A Florida man who really wanted to go to a strip club and didn't like his girlfriend holding him up was arrested after tackling the woman.
The Palm Beach Post reports the man was intoxicated Tuesday night when his girlfriend refused to give him his cellphone.
Upset that he couldn't get the phone and go to a strip club with his friends, the man began cursing his girlfriend before tackling her to the ground.
A manager of a nearby establishment pulled the man off his girlfriend and held him until police arrived on the scene.
The woman suffered cuts to her right wrist during the altercation. She said her boyfriend also asked for money to go to the strip club.
As the man was placed in handcuffs, he screamed "I hope she (expletive) dies.
