I've seen them actually shave in those shows at HK, so yes, it's shaving cream. They have like a bathtub in another part of the club, so they may go there after the shaving cream show to clean up. Or, the bathtub may be for a separate show.

At HK, the girls have drink quotas. In the U.S. they have a house fee and tip outs that they have to meet before they start making positive money for their shift. Contrary to popular belief, HK doesn't necessarily have the hottest girls in Tijuana. I have seen many 4's, 5's, and 6's there. Something that should also be noted is that HK girls service many men in one night usually, which is kind of disgusting.
