WWF/WWE

I used to be a big wrestling fan back in the day, it was good entertainment. It's not the same anymore, pretty boring storylines, these wrestlers nowadays don't have charisma.

Looking back at the history of the WWF/WWE, who would you say is the most popular wrestler of all time?

A. The Undertaker
B. John Cena
C. Hulk Hogan
D. Stone Cold Steve Austin
E. Ric Flair
F. Brock Lesnar
G. The Rock
H. Other

I would say Hogan number one, the Rock number two, and Austin number three.

I forgot to put Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels as choices, those two were very popular too.

Proof I'm on ignore but Fisher Price logs out just to read my comments because it actually means alot to him that's juice accepts him lol...hence the wrestling thread to bate me to respond in the first place.

Bye the way fagget WWF has always sucked balls and has been gimmick ie and has destroyed the whole industry.

WCW was the true king of wrestling

I think Undertaker was the most famous, also his name was enigmatic so was his relationship with bro Kane.
Hulk Hogan was maybe daddy famous.
Rock became an actor that's prolonged his media presence.
The best (not most famous) was perhaps Brock Lesner...

The Rock is my favorite but it's a fact that Steve Austin made them more money than any other wrestler. I agree the new generation is pretty generic on the male side. The females though, especially Sasha Banks are better than they've ever been. That being said I don't watch it anymore either.

Meat72 --> "Now a wrestling post??!! WTF! This is proof of an adolescent mind at play here folks."

Pro Wrestling is just a male soap opera. Where a soap opera (for women) is fake sex with fighting, Pro Wrestling (for me) is fake fighting with sex.

@mmrock- I didn't know that, thanks for the insight. It's a shame Stone Cold's career got cut short to serious injuries. It was interesting though at Wrestlemania when Rock fought Hogan, Hogan was a heel at the time, but most of that crowd was rooting for Hogan, so that made me think Hogan might have Rock beat in popularity.

Apparently Goldberg returned to WWE a few weeks ago after a 12 year absence. That doesn't get me too excited. I loved him in WCW, but his WWE career wasn't that exciting to me.

I always liked Haystacks Calhoun myself. Also, spent a few hours in an airport bar with Andre the Giant. I tried very hard to have an intelligent conversation. He responded mostly with unintelligible grunts. He did give me an autograph.

    Dominic77, that's a good point.

Does anyone find it hilarious that Juice and I bagged on Larry Fisherman for creating this wrestling post, yet we also were quick to chime in on who our favorites are? Lol!

I must add the Iran Sheik was the bomb, and I forgot the guy who would administer the Russian sickle, Baron Von something. The foreign hatred was funny as patriotism ruled in the hey day of WWF!

Not enough time has passed and he took quite the hiatus, but Bill Goldberg stands out in my opinion.
