I do like metal and Asian WOMEN. The operative word is women. If I am alive as they age well, I will enjoy looking at them. As for the "metal", no thanks!
I've been making Babymetal comments since April when they were on Colbert. I wanted to see them st House Of Blues (Chicago) but they sold out in an hour. Scalped tickets started at $150! Then I wanted to see them at Toyota Park at Summerfest but again, sold out that day. I used to get Led Zeppelin tickets...but Babymetal is a whole new world of demand.
They are by far my favorite new band. Check out Karate:
I met Kittie years ago. It was in the Orange Bowl in Miami. I assume the same "Kittie" band. The OB has been gone for years. My son's band was playing there also, along with Molly Hatchet. The promoter we knew well, so had full backstage access. Was enjoyable, except the Hatchet guys were jerks!
Shark: I'm also a classic rock fan (it's what I play and write) but I find Babymetal a breath of fresh air. Maybe they're an acquired taste since few who posted in this thread seem to like them.
Lol, I went to the music section in Best Buy one time wondering where all my favorite music got moved to and found it all in a section called Heavy Metal. Rush was in there too. I thought well I must be a heavy metal music fan if that's where they list all my favorite groups.
I enjoyed irritating a suite mate in college by playing either Rush or Led Zeppelin all the time when he was around. I can tell dancers really like it when the DJ plays Stairway to Heaven and he doesn't cut it short. I didn't have a big music selection to choose from when I was in college.
I was in a club having a beer, really not paying much attention to the dancers. Few were worth watching. I mostly stopped to talk with the barmaid and it was on the way home on most Fridays. All of a sudden Rammstein comes on the sound system. That got my attention, and then the dancer, unbelievable, an ASIAN!! Talk about heaven. Well to make a long story short, they could pick their own music, ergo Rammstein. She became my ATF and is to this day,

This is their best song, but the posted link of Gimmie Chocolate is still their most popular.
Like the music, singing, not so much.
Now the girls, I'll wait about 10 years for them!

How dare you include rush with the likes of Metallica, Rob Zombie (White Zombie?), and AC/DC?
