I doubt that Republican delegates will go to strip clubs. Even if they don't have moral objections, they will fear being outed by news organizations or by individuals using cell phones to upload videos onto social media. What do you think?
It's probably similar to the 2 dozen odd Republican debates we had. I don't think those cities (i.e., Detroit) say much SC traffic or SC $$ influx.

Jack - to answer your question, you probably won't see any recognizable republicans itc. Aides, low level officials who keep a low profile maybe. Delegates definitely. But any big time politician isn't stupid enough in this day an age of cell phones to put themselves in that position. If anything they would try to get an escort.

As for the clubs and local economy I think maybe the 3 higher end clubs on the west bank of the flats and Crazy Horse downtown and regular bars and restaurants will see an increase in business just because they're close to the convention venue. That is if visitors can dodge the rabid dog protesters that will do their best to fuck everything up and start riots.
