Contact and Clothing Rules

What are the rules for lap dance contact and the rules about how little girls can wear in Maryland?

Answers for every state would be nice, but specifically Maryland

Some clubs have dancers wear bikinis to get around the contact laws. Not sure about Maryland but I think this is an interesting topic.

most clubs (if not all) in maryland will allow you to get 2-way contact. and for some of the clubs, you can get 2 way contact for only 5 bucks per dance. other clubs, like showcase theater, it will cost 20 bucks per dance or more.

as far as your question about how little girls can wear---many of the clubs in maryland are nude--showcase theater, fuego, ebony inn, etc. but this mainly applies to the stage dancing. the lap dances, especially the cheaper ones that go for 5 or 10 per dance, are typically bikini dances.

now you can get topless and even nude dances in maryland----but its gonna cost a lot more. typically in maryland, those dances will cost you 30 or more per song. i know that's the case for fuego and showcase for sure

Damn around here in the Florida panhandle the dances are topples and most clubs charge 40 dollars. With one exception.

The rules always are whatever can be gotten away with. If you let the upholders of justice decide, then there never would have been anything like a strip club.

In practice, laws become unenforceable when too many people no longer comply.

Im Miami/South-FL stage dancing & floor dances are full nude, but lap-dances are topless w/ bottoms/g-strings on - lap-dances are good 2-way contact & the nude floor-dances are supposed to be no contact but it varies w/ dancer & club.

In Massachusetts dances range from virtual air dances, to decent contact to having a 3 give you a handjob in the $20 lap dance area. In Providence two way contact is the norm and dances are usually $25. Two way contact varies from a quick grab to putting 2 fingers in. Private rooms are for better contact up to FS.

The Maryland rules are governed by the sale of alcohol and the county where they are located. The codes are extensive and even address the distance a dances must keep from the customer, to the "one foot on the floor" rule, to the amount of fabric and area a g-string must cover, and even how long a dance maybe in continuous contact with a customer.. Local laws have priority and the enforcement of these laws very greatly from county to county. Private BYOB Membership clubs have different rules because they do not sell alcohol and are 'private". The last variable is the management of the club and what they choose to enforce. So, best advise is to do your research whether in the Law Library or in the clubs, and WHO GIVES A FUCK ABOUT OTHER STATES YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY INTENTION OF PATRONIZING ANYWAY. smh

Very few state have any statutes at all relevant to activities between dancers and customers in a strip club. Those state laws that do occasionally apply are specifically prostitution laws. In almost every state, the laws that restrict nudity and contact between dancers and customers are local (county, parish, city or town). In some states, the state courts have routinely upheld certain types of restrictive laws and local governments throughout the state will copy the language already upheld by a state court - but it is still a local issue.

As busta_nut described, the rules vary across any state. Maryland communities have used alcohol sales laws to limit strip clubs in addition to "morality" statutes, but enforcement is more important than law even in boring, restrictive Maryland!
