It's obvious the senator who proposed that particular amendment was trying to restrict strippers to his preferences. Dude just revealed how much of a PL he is and how much he goes to the club.
If places could, they would outlaw stripping. But when it has been in court, its been decided that it is the performer's civil right.
So, except when there is some other issue, like the alcohol age, courts have decided that an 18yo has the right to take off her clothes. So Louisiana will not prevail.
@LG: It's bad for customers. Generally, I don't think the Gov has the right to dictate these sorts of things. However... it would seem logical IMO that such an age restriction would intervene in some bad decisions at 18 and result in fewer lives flushed down the shitter due to living the stripper lifestyle.

last commentJS69 just swore off having any TUSCL meets in NOLA ! LOL, Louisiana is going to miss out on millions :)
No, they were going to limit the upper age to 28 and limit the weight to 161 pounds. No more fat middle age strippers! www.wbrz.com

Do you agree mjx01? Do they think some girls aren't mature enough to make a decision to strip until they are 21?
I believe you have to be 21 to dance in Manhattan too (at least at the ones that serve alcohol).
Nooooooooooooooo!!!!!!
Arghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
Sucks for John.

With alcohol, courts have upheld the 21yo age restriction.
But with stripping, or say being in porno movies, the courts have decided that that is a 1st Amendment right, and 18 is our age of majority.
What Louisiana is trying has been tried before.
And I don't agree that there is any stripper lifestyle which means lives flushed down the shitter.
