"The victim, who was on a business trip to Greensboro, visited Christie’s Cabaret at 4016 W. Wendover Ave. There he met 24-year-old dancer Jessica Salinas. The man spent the majority of the evening with Salinas, then invited her to come to his hotel room at a nearby Marriott when she got off work.
What the victim didn’t know is that Salinas realized he was carrying a large amount of cash.
Salinas, whose family was financially hurting, told co-workers Heaven Shoffner, 22, and Sommer Painter, 22, that she planned to rob the businessman. Painter had another idea.
Painter told Salinas and Shoffner that Ali Mahamed Sheikh, whom she identified as her drug dealer, would rob the man and split the money among everyone."

Even non-lawyers should recognize the absurdity of their argument on appeal: they claimed they shouldn’t have been merely convicted of attempting to commit a crime when evidence proves they actually did commit the crime.
It didn't say what length the sentences were for the strippers but assuming it was somewhere between 6 months to 2 years.
After reading this one several times - I still don't understand why one guy wore a clown mask? Maybe he was a bit of a freak - and wanted to tea bag the business man while wearing a clown mask?
