Not so much a stereotype rather than a consistent pattern of short sighted behavior. Usually an "I'm going to get what's mine" approach to people without regards to how you reap what you sew.
The most common is the drug addicted crazy.
But there are others, usually the girls of color are earning a living and tend to be more sane and responsible.
But like say in San Francisco, you will find white girls who are politically aware, tending to be clean of drugs, alcohol, and tobacco, but highly aware of middle-class family child abuse and of all the lies our society runs on.
I don't think any of these things are really stereotypes though.
The type Meat72 is describing above I would describe as "mercenary". I would say that that is a stereotype, as if you don't treat the girl that way yourself, then probably she is not going to be that way with you. Most strippers have very good people skills and are actually quite easy to get along with. They make lots of money, and dealing with them is expensive, but most of them are actually quite easy to get on personal terms with, and if you want, to be seeing off the clock.

The main ones would be poor judgement in boyfriends and an inability to hold a "normal" job. Also substance issues, be it booze, pot or something harder
On the whole I would say that women that work as prostitutes are actually very soft centered.
This is not really from television, it is from conversations and interactions with them.
But as they also live in a tough world, they do need to also have a hard side.

Gawker's list is indeed a stereo type, and yes there are some girls who are like that. This I know.
But there are also others who are not at all like that and these tend to be the ones I have gotten along with.

When I lived in New Orleans, I went to a black club. I didn't know it was a black club, but it was on the west bank, where I lived. I was the only white guy -white person- in there. All of the girls were the thick, phat booty types. There was only one spinner, and none of the other custies were interested in her. I had her all to myself.
Yes, that is true of many, but not all. When I first joined TUSCL I posted about my own experiences with Lesbian strippers and how beyond a point they were unengagable. This set off a barrage of trolling. But it is true.
And then also the upshot of this is that many strippers are not Lesbian or Bipolar. Many are not even BiSexual.

The seeming inability to land a nice guy. Found out our former fave moved back to Florida and was stripping at a club there so she and one of her kids could be near the prison her baby daddy was incarcerated.
This is less a stripper thing than a "people under 25" thing, but strippers tend to spend money as fast as they make it. They burn their extra cash on luxuries like having their own apartment without roommates (or living with a free loading boyfriend), driving a nice car, buying the shoes and bags and dresses non strippers wish they could afford.

3) Alway playing on phone that only works in the club (guess it's there only opportunity )
4) Never have a boyfriend until you ask about OTC
5) They don't do drug only pot, molly, and a little coke sometimes
6) Admit to fucking at least either 50 guys or less than 5 never in a number in between

They smoke cigarettes.
Even the ones that don't smoke do. I've known a few dancers that don't smoke, except on weekends at the club. I'm not a smoker, but I don't understand the concept of a "social smoker"
They spoil their kids. They shower them with gifts.
I don't know if it's the guilt. Or the fact they make good money, but strippers as a group tend to greatly overdo birthdays and Christmas.
And even down to little things -- like refusing to let their kids ride the school bus. Every stripper I know takes their kids to school

That they must get a tattoo that shows on their back or get

That they always arrive late.

They always tell lies.
They con guys out of money all the time.
Stereotypes by society
They come from poor families or they all have family or social issues or mental problems.
They're all hookers.
They are degrading females in general by taking off their clothes pleasing men in the process.
They're only after money.
Motor, one I know does spoil her 3y/o daughter, but she takes her everywhere instead of just watching TV. The girl has been to the beach, the merry-go-round, the zoo, the Wild Animal Park, Disneyland, Legoland, the lake feeding ducks, fishing with grandpa, Scripps Aquarium,etc
I think the spoiling thing is often a product of working class background +free cash flow.
I know a couple Real Housewife types from working class backgrounds who married up and crazy spoil their kids.
Tattoos are another major thing. Glad y'all mentioned that. I was somewhere volunteering last weekend and a stripper is the last thing I would've imagined seeing in this situation. During their time with me I noticed she had a few tattoos and thought "hmmm maybe a cool mom". As she walked away I noticed the obligatory matching bow tattoos on the back of her calves with long ribbons on each and immediately did a mental slap to the forehead saying "yep, stripper".
Motorhead, the tobacco thing is a problem. Here in California we have made progress because of the good indoor air protections. So the overall smoking rate is down to 9%, second lowest after Utah.
The stripper rate has always been higher, but it continues to drop as attitudes change. So social smoker is starting to become a nonsense of the past.
For example, 25 years ago there was still smoking in AMPs. Today that is totally absent.
Having been involved with local activists, I would say that part of it is the absurd social realm that adolescents are forced to live in. They turn to smoking as a way to show their rejection of it. So to make further progress, we need to start taking apart that strange adolescent realm which people are forced into, provide other exit routes.
